This is my third 253 now and I just had to have it. The downsides on this one are: Incorrect crownguard Mineral Crystal Crown to thin Numbers to large and too thin here are the pics - the movement is stunning
finally after seeing this one quite a bit here on RWG I had to get one! The only thing I don't like is the bracelet end link - it is supposed to be Titanium but is either Aluminum or SS.
Enjoy!
2 of mine have been serviced by The Zigmeister - however both won't wind on the winder only when I wear them.
the third wasn't serviced and runs fine - those highly modified movements are unpredictable I am waiting for the thrid one to stop working
received this Chronomat Evolution from Joshua before Christmas - finally got around to take some pictures.
The genuine Breitling strap was more expensive than the watch but what a differnence. Enjoy!
picked up this beautiful Sinn U2 in Germany before Christmas. The quality compared to my genuine Panerai 25 is definetly better and it wears very comfortably for the size. Enjoy the pictures.
I tried the gen last week in Germany and when I came back this beauty was in the mail...let me tell you there is no noticable difference between the rep and the gen ;-)
thanks for all your replies - I will go the cold welding route once I am back home...I am in Germany right now and couldn't resist buying a German watch
Sinn U2 baby....will post pictures after Christmas
cheers
couldn't find a post about this!
yesterday my Inge deplyoment just separated from the link - looking at it it seemed like it was glued on.
Did anybody have them same problem? Can this be fixed - maybe soldering?
thanks
Please read The Zigmeister's comments from the workbench on serviceing 2 of my IWC PortugiesersHere
it remains to be seen if this one is going to be reliable
there are 5 extra transfer gears according to The Zigmeister
Eddie assured me that the issues have been fixed
