I wish I had all of your discipline. I started collecting about 10 years ago. Right after I had a pretty extensive vintage motorcycle collection and had thinned it out from 27 to 4. Suddenly, I found myself interested in reps. I already owned three gens. I just started collecting reps I liked. Now, I've collected about 70+ (I'm afraid to count them, LOL). I guess I'm a collector at heart. I do switch them regularly (every day). I made a decision not to buy anymore, but broke down and bought a couple (the new UN and an AP). I have to say the hobby is still interesting to me and I do luv tinkering with the movements and mods. Reps or Gens, these are mechanical marvels to me.

Here's one that happens to be in focus??

One doesn't need an Artistic occupation, Gran, just an appreciation for an artistic dial. I own a lot, as you probably know, and Like to rotate them. This one gets it's share and it gets my appreciation for it's designers creativity. It's not for everybody, but then again, I'm not everybody. It probably has more fans amongst the membership here than the world at large.

For $188 this is damn good. I remember when that bought us a lot worse. This is one beautiful watch. I've just ordered the blue surf and had them put on the bracelet. I just love that look. I actually saw the blue surf with a bracelet at an AD even though it doesn't come that way from the factory. As for the caseback, I recommend wearing it right side up!

I don't think it's much concern. I've noticed this always seems to happen this time of the year. It's the end of summer/Labor day. Every year this happens about now. It'll pick up by the end of September.......for what its worth

well, I agree with all of you who say they're overpriced.........just like cars, televisions, appliances of all kind. In fact, everything that is commercially sold. We should have fakes of all of them.
