Great looking watch...too bad its 40MM...I just can't get over that...my RXW milgraph is about 40MM and that's okay bc its a RXW..for some reason I can't seem to digest the Pannies at 40!
maybe if i had one i could...

I will second that notion...concentrate on the quality of the reps versus quantity...for me, i am drawn to the Panerai reps more than anything...so for me, its the brand.
Others might be drawn to a style of watch...i.e., dress, sport, diver..etc. That could be another way to narrow down your choices.
good luck and happy hunting with your new addiction
Chris, Thanks for the post. I have been wanting to take apart one of my babies for awhile now and I just might be able to attack it...thanks to your help.
cheers
I haven't bought any of these yet but I have been looking hard at the 212 and the 231...but since I've just added the following reps in the last 3 weeks...
127
217
27
29
RXW Plasmir
113
I need to take a break for now....
Phookin SONY DSC F717 just crapped out...I was going to take some decent pix and post...since I don't have a scanner...
Doesn't anybody have the Panerai Mike Horn brochure from their AD?
I'll have to get my old Ricoh out and get a pic uploaded. I think the watch is killer but I can't find any reference to it anyhere
Well done. Strapmasters are a bit pricey...but worth it in my book...they have a club for frequent buyers that can get you discounts on future purchases...
Make sure u post pics...
Awesome post! Thorough review. But you forgot blah, blah and blah...just kidding! Man, have you thought about writing a book or newsletter!
Excellent.
Thanks for taking the time on this one....well layed out and informative.
I have the Europelli Vinatge Cordovan and it is excellent. Soft as butttah...tough as [censored]...I have "handled" the Baseball straps and let's just say...I'll be picking one up here in the very near future...BTW, have u looked at any of the Greg Stevens straps? They are killer...
Calling on the Experts here
..the Mike Horn book I have shows a PAM 92 Arktos with regular black dial sub seconds advertised within...but ol' Mike Horn on page3 is sporting an Arktos complete with the raised N E S W on the bezel to include a WHITE sub seconds dial...
Was this Pannie ever produced and if so, which model is it...wish I had a scanner to show you...
thanks
[censored]...those look good...I might have to pull the trigger on those...I have had the gen swordfish in hand and it is sweet...dammit...this is getting expensive...
That Seiko is sweet! Love those fatty hands. cheers
...and no...no diving, showering or phucking with the reps...no prob with the gens...i get 'em wet all the time.
