    RXW

I bought it and I love it...no regrets at all. In fact, one of my coworkers (a recent Gen PAM90 owner) saw my Plasmir and now he won't stop drooling on it...every frickin day.."hey man, let me see that thing again"...sheesh... I love it in the dark...lights up like a torch!. The movement is smooth. Gorgeous watch...I can't wait for his next MM run...I'll be buying again. cheers
  2. I just saw this...but I'm at work right now...I'll check my gen papers tonight and post then after I review them... cheers
  3. Dirk's straps are my favorites. Here is a tan SWP with sewn in buckle on my 111G Had this strap for almost two years..its soft, strong, and ages nicely...go get a couple! There's a Chocolate Dirk SWP in here as well cheers
  4. Nice! Way to go ya fookin jackass...especially rippin pics from here...that [censored] just continues to rob any bit of "cred" this board could have had...three steps forward, one step back... Definitely ban this individual if possible. After the proverbial tar and feathers action first...
  5. I have yet to see a TT Sub rep match the gen...I have looked and compared both and I can't seem to find a rep's gold to match the gens in color or weight. Then rep's bracelets never feel right to me and the weight/heft is just one of those "little" things that influence my decision when buying...I want to know that baby is on my wrist! I guess when I turn 40 next year, those lighter/thinner models will start appealing to me...like the PP and VCs...but until then...pannies all the way. cheers
  6. No need to aplogize for the rant....Newbie here to RWG but not to the hobby of watches. There is a fine line between the rep and gen hobbies. And I don't think it should be crossed. That [censored] pisses me off too
  7. Roger that....Jack at IWW emailed me that he is no longer performing his PVD service on non-gens...&^%$#@ and he is backed up in regular watch service at the moment.... I knew I should have gone to watchmaker's school...
  8. I too suffer from that dreaded disease known as "Small wrist Large Panerai addiction"... My first PAM was the 111G...you'll be fine and you'll pull it off no problem....the funny thing is that the rollie looks to small now... now, gooooooo get one...or two...you won't regret it... cheers
  9. finepics, Thanks for the review. It helps us noobs to the rep scene...My addiction has begun...

    PAM 4

Finepics, if you are going to be offering PVD service....giddyup...I am ready to send some work to you. As I am sure there are other folks in the same boat.
  11. Please mark me down for two dials. Thanks
  12. How do I find "ioffer"....I need to start keeping wifey happy with some bags... Check this out, I dropped 1200 on that stupid LV Denim bag and the damn brass enclosure thingy fell off when my wife was in the mall...made the loudest noise and boy did she feel stupid...and it was REAL! Time to go get some decent reps!
  13. Excellent post! I have three gens that I paid a lot of money for...and I have 4 reps on the way...I can honestly say that I won't be wasting my money on the gens anymore...I have seen the quality of work on the reps and there is little reason to spend the exorbitant amount of money for the gen when the rep is nearly as good. Not to mention how much fun the hobby of mods and upgrades on the reps will become. cheers
  14. I am interested. Let me see some pics with some prices. thanks

    New 217

Very nice. I have one otw from EL... cheers
  16. Am I too late...I just saw this post and would like to add my name for three cyclops. cheers
  17. Could someone tell me where I can send my watches off to get PVD/DLC? I know Jack at IWW does them but is there anyone else? Thanks.
  18. That is a fine job. Wow, I am impressed and I now have to rethink some more purchases. As I love that dial!
  19. 111G or older. I don't really care for the sandwich dial on the H models...I do however love 'em on the Fiddy! cheers
  20. Eddie, How about doing a 212...BTW, that Tourby is sweet...I am tempted to pull the trigger on that one... cheers
  21. Skip Patpong for sure...I would either head straight to MBK...but do not do a motorcycle taxi from MBK back to the airport...you will regret that...once in MBK go straight upstairs to the dealers...do not screw around with the other distractions/shops etc...lots of gens up there as well... or stay at the airport, head upstairs and get a two hour massage, then go have a dinner at the thai airlines lounge restaraunt...a little overpriced by thai street food stalls' standards but the food is prepared in a clean environment, with good service...that way, you can rest assured that your stay in Jakarta will go smoothly and you won't spend your time in the loo while in Jak cheers i'll be there in august...sweet...just after the WC.. forza forza forza
  22. I love 'em both...that 187 is gonna snag all the lint on those cashmere sweaters...whateva cheers
  23. The thought of selling the wife's 113 to fund some purchases for lil ol me ain't gonna fly too well with her....hell, its hard enough to pry if off her wrist so i can get some wrist time... she ain't gonna be too happy when that rxw plasmir shows up...oh well... thanks for welcome... cheers wish i could remeber where i found the avatar..she is giddyup!
  24. Hello everyone...just found this board and the other forum and am quite pleased... Just dropped an order to EL for some Pannies...already own a gen 111 and 113 and a rolex TT Sub which really doesn't get a lot of wrist time thanks to the Pannies... I own a shitload of OEM Pam straps as well as aftermarket from Dirk, TC, Paci, Strapmasters...just bought a Greg Stevens and it should be here soon. can't wait to add some more Panerai and maybe some others to my collection. cheers
