I am on the same page as you. No good deed goes unpunished. Amazing how people with bad fakes will turn their nose up at you when you try to hook them up with the good stuff. I have stopped trying. Jut enjoy my hobby here and laugh on the inside.........

I have tried the same thing several times when I spot someone with a bad fake. Most of the time they insist it is the real deal and I just shut my mouth. Funny some people even try that when they know I wear fakes. I guess the general population who wear fakes do so to impress others or appear to be something they are not. I have always appreciated this hobby for what it is, a hobby and enjoy conversations I have with people about how good my fakes are. Funny thing is I own and have owned many genuine watches. I think most people who own a fake or two never have and the idea of wearing a Rolex for them is a big deal. After you own a $20k watch it isn't such a big deal anymore and don't care about being called out. I am not interested in trying to impress anyone. I impress myself enough..

Two little known movies that are popular in my circle: The Prime Gig with Ed harris and Vince Vaughn. The original "Boiler Room" made in 1992. Although both stories are probably boring and slow for most, they accurately depict the business I have been in for the last 12 years, investments. i have seen a lot of scams in my carreer, although never participated in any, and these movies accurately depict a couple of old time phone scams. It is good to watch these movies just to know what to look for and make sure you don't get scammed yourself.

I remember that back in 2002 the only option for a wroking automatic chrono was swoss valjoux 7750. The asian version wasn't released or at least advertised as asian until much later.

Are yoou sure you bought that daytona in 2002? I thought they didn;t come out with the asian 7750 movement until 2005/2006? If they had it for that long they were propably selling them as swiss for a long time.

Does anyone here watch Entourage? Great season so far and it looks like the cast has some new watches. I saw a Bell and Ross on the bald guy who went to jail last night. Ari was wearing an AP ROO and in the preview for next week they show someone getting a solid gold AP RO Chrono. I think someone else was wearing a Mont Blanc Timewalker as well but I can;t be sure. Anyone else spot anything good in the show?

I think the free casino offers are cool. i have used many of them. Never actually one, but fun nonetheless. I can't be the only degenerate gambler here so I say keep it. BTW, I used to have an affiliate website for casinos and poker rooms. I even owned my own online poker room. The casinos will pay big money for sign ups, sometimes even if players don't deposit. Good way to support the board.

It always annoys me when I see even genuine chrono owners with the large seconds constantly running. It just makes you look like you have no idea what the hand is for. Keep the second hand stopped at 12.

As much as I like gold and two tone rolexes, I think they missed on this one. The yellow fill in the ceramic bezel numbers is fugly and they didn't even bother to print the dial with gold letters. I think Rolex is starting to cut costs by using the same dials for ss and tt. The worst reps have always had white printing when it should be gold and this just looks wrong. And then the green dial accents clash with the whole watch.

Wow that is pretty cool. I guess online bingo is winnable because it is kind of like poker. The house gets thbeir piece of the actikon and the rest of the money goes into the prize pool. We have a high stakes bingo hall here in south florida. I always thought it was stupid until a friend of mine won $18k. I was there every week for months after that but never won anything. I wish they would lift the online gambling ban here in the US. It is getting harder and harder to make money with online poker.

Yes it was thoughtful and shows that the people I work for take an interest in their salespeople. BTW, he did tell me it was just an empty box even before he brought it in. As for the money, yes it is a good living. Unfortunatley I don't get the entire 3% all at one time since it is a pre construction project.

So I started a new job two months ago. I work for a developer selling Real Estate in Costa Rica. In two months I have brought in $1,600,000 in sales. Everyone in the office knows I am into watches seeing as I seem to wear a different one every day. My boss tells me he has this laying around and I can have it because he was about to throw it away. Yes it is just a box. Nice thing about letting people know you are a watch collector people want to give you things. Too bad he doesn't still have the watch, but to think people would actually toss away a perfectly good empty box.
