  1. Also no lume shot. This is supposed to have blue lume.
  2. I was wondering how they were going to do with that clasp. Looks good can anyone comment on accuracy? Looks like I may go from no submariner like watches to two.............
  3. Wow!!! I want the one on the diamond bracelet.
  4. There haven't been any decent reps of any Zenith watches unfortunately. There has been a pretty bad attempt at the defy, which is an ugly watch to begin with IMO, but there is no movement available that can accurately replicate the ones found in Zenith watches. Try something different. You will find many great replicas from our dealers here.
  5. Aha, there is where your problem started. This just proves women can't drive.
  6. When certain ceramic is baked at high temperature it becomes very hard. Ceramic used in watches is scratchproof. There are also some very high end chef's knives made from ceramic. These knives stay sharp with no need for sharpening. Seems odd at first because we are used to ceramic being used for fragile knick knacks, but it is a very versatile material.
  7. Yes, the white dial with the bling bezel is definately the way to go.
  8. I don't see how that comment is racist at all. Maybe people are getting just a little too touchy nowadays. lighten up. I took it as he was saying the guy was running fast enough to pick up his dry cleaning. How is that racist? The funniest comment ever made IMO was Howard Cosell "look at that monkey run".................. Of course he meant it in the utmost non racist way.......
  9. I love the iced out golden bridge. Are these all purchases to disect for 1:1 replicas? Wishful thinking.....
  10. Try bending the clasp in the closed position until it snaps shut. The president clasp bends easily and sometimes needs an adjustment. Usually easy to do but be careful not to overbend it.
  11. Yes THAT would be impressive. Imagine the applications, mainly the porn. Imagine the poor computer geeks that would have their hearts ripped out by computer generated online dates................... I'm still waiting for the robotic woman. Once you can program what you want your wife to do and say, we will have a perfect world.
  12. For me, it is worth it because I am always in pursuit of great replicas. I have had several solid gold reps and to me they were worth the money. On the other hand as a gift, you can get plenty of great genuine watches under $2,000. If you are going to spend that kind of money on a gift make sure it is a gen. Most people would appreciate a gen more than an overpriced fake. Us rep collectors are a rare breed.
  13. Yes!!! That is the only reason why I don't own a HBB, I can't stand strap watches.
  14. I would assume at that price this would have to be a genuine V72. Then again when you assume you can make an ass out of u and me............................ Seriously if there were a chinese replica of the v72 movement the price should be around $300 to $400. Isn't DW's mystery movement a copy of a V23? DW's go for around $300 or so.
  15. You can special order any dial/metal/model combination you wish although Rolex may not ship this dial in white gold from the factory normally. I am sure if you showed up to your AD with $23k in your hand you can have a glacier blue president in white gold.
  16. Of course I don't mind. It is also important to mention that this watch also comes in platinum, so it could be a rep of a platinum model or white gold. As for the plating on any "white gold" reps there are many materials they could use to palte them: Palladium Nickel silver platinum rhodium and there is also a fake rhodium plating that is used on a lot of the cheap hip hop jewelry you may see at the flea market. Although this process is quite durable and shiny, there is no precious metal contained in the plating. It is a nickel/zinc type of material.
  17. Great review and great watch. The glacier blue dial has a;ways been one of my favorites. As for the size, I think you may be a fan when the new larger models are released. I know I will be wearing a day date regularly once we get some good 40mm replicas. So true. Every woman I have ever bought an automatic watch for has at one time or another complained that it stopped working or wasn't keeping time. This after sitting on their dresser for 2 or more days....
  18. Rolex has a proprietary process to manufacture white gold and rose gold that will never change color. Most all white gold jewelry and watches are plated with rhodium except Rolex. White gold is achieved by mixing gold with nickel. Without the rhodium it will always hav a yellow tint. The process Rolex invented is heavily guarded but produces white gold that is brighter than any other and will never fade. I have white gold jewelry that is turning yellow due to the rhodium wearing off. With that said there is no such thing as white gold plating. It is chemically impossible unless you have the proprietary formula from Rolex. Seeing that Rhodium is the most expensive metal in the world, currently trading at around $6,000 per ounce, it is highly unlikely that a replica manufacturer is plating anything with rhodium.
  19. I am using it now and I agree it is faster than IE7, but check out this article: CNN Article Looks like Microsoft is a step ahead.
  20. Yours is version 1 right? Is this one more accurate than version 2?
  21. The IWC Big pilot is not the type of watch I would normally wear, and previously when everyone was begging for a decent rep I asked myself why? I do believe I am beginning to see the light. This watch is everything opposite of what I normally wear: My watches are 40mm to 44mm and this one is 46mm It is on a strap and all my watches are on bracelets except for a few I never wear. It is simple and not at all blinged. Even with all of this in mind I can still see myself wearing this watch on a regular basis. It is certainly growing on me and the price is definatley right. I like the fact that they went the extra step to make sure the weight is substantial at 144 grams. I prefer the platinum version, but the wrong dial bothers me. Is the 1st version closer to the original? Would it be better to take v1 dial and put in ion the V2? Does anyone know if there will be a V3 with the proper "platinum" outline on the dial markers? What to do, buy now or wait?
  22. I know a group that used to work for google came up with their own search engine www.cuil.com. Isn't really cuil (pronounced cool) at all................. I don't know why there is all this hype about new browsers. I have tried firefox and used to use netscape back in the day, but IE has always been the fastest and easiest to use for me. All of these other browsers just seem to be more trouble than they are worth. I especially can't stand firefox. Just never works right. I have enough security on my computer that I don't need a more secure browser.
  23. Couldn't it be a JLC?
  24. That is not the same king that we know here on the boards. They are using pics of genuine watches. Stay away!!!!
  25. Yeah I see that. Looks almost like 20mm lugs with the correct 19mm bracelet? Bad machining or a big mistake?
