There is a fine line between gaudy and downright disgusting............ BTW, that used to be a Breitling Bentley.

This watch inspired me to start a Fugly watch thread. Let's see yours. Admin will not be responsible for sickness.

Concierge to wayward women.................... Oh, and I play poker and dabble in Real Estate.

I would also like to know. I wish they would rep the roman dial BCE already!!!!
-
Unfortunately these are nowhere near close to gen. I actually had a chance to try on the new GMT in solid gold with the diamond and sapphire bezel. The sapphires are nice and deep blue and the stones are arranged in a tasteful manner.

Glad to hear this good news!!! I am going to order this watch soon. This is also my favorite version but I have been waiting for a deal like this. Please post pics!!!

I wonderif that site is ok to buy from. I like em................. I'm sure Allergydoc will back me up on this.

Challenge - most expensive cloned watch.

Vacheron 250 anniversary calendar was repped and pretty well aside from all the non working complications. I believe this to be the most complicated watch ever with 15 or 16 complications. Retail price $2.5 million. -
I agree with the above. Obama is quite talented, but his inexperience is apparent. He has good ideas, but many unrealistic goals and promises. His popularity is due to his optimistic nature but no one will be able to accomplish half the things he says he will do.

I like the burl wood dial too. Matches the dash on my old Caddy. The second runner up is the plain Onyx dial with no markers and my #1 favorite is the Meteorite like the one in my Avatar..........

Obama hasn't said a thing profound IMO. The Clinton years were the best in this country since I have been alive and I would love for those days to be back. It is scary to me that the American people are naive enough to buy into Obama's preacher like ramblings. I guess the attraction is that he is unlike anyone that has been in office before and the people want a complete 180 degree turn from Bush. I also think that his Christianity has a lot to do with it which is also dissapointing because religion has no place in politics. Flame me if you will, but noone seems to realize the fact that Obama is a radical racist. He claims that for the 30 some odd years he went to church with his preacher he never heard him talk about "the white man". Come on. He changed his name from Barry to Barak. The guy preaches how race should be left out of the election but that is all you hear from Oprah touting DR MLK's dream. This guy will run this country further into the ground than it already is. Hillary is a politician's politician. She knows how to play the game and she knows how to get things done. Plus Bill will be right with her. Obama may get the nominee but there is no way he will be the next president. Reality is that John Mccain will be in office soon enough. Thank god for the electoral college. I forget which president it was but it was once said that the American people aren't smart enough to know who is best for the presidency. I concur.............

I would definately buy one if they were available. Preferably a Day Date model. I have only seen really bad datejusts sold for $20 on the street with oysterquartz printed on the dial. I assume this is to help explain the quartz movement inside what should be an automatic watch. I guess since Rolex stopped making these and the biggest hurdle in the rep world was originally to make an affordable automatic Rolex, the oysterquartz fell by the wayside. The less knowledgable or 99% of the population only knows that the Rolex hand should sweep. I have seen people pin a genuine oysterquartz as fake due to the ticking. It would be logical to assume that they chinese wouldn't go through the trouble of replicating a watch just to have it assumed to be fake.

Does it tell time? I don't see any numbers................. Who cares anyway. If you have $600k to spend on a watch why would you need to keep track of time?
-
And they advertise a Zenith movement for $299 or 27 jewel ETA for $1,050. They even upgrade the wrapping from triple to quad...................... Cmon. There is no way you will get the watch in the picture.

I didn't post for close to a month and noone missed me?

I have two daytona paperweights. I may try my hand at this fix. I emailed Jos Nana about the new daytonas he has on his website and he claims to have "no problems from this maker". I may take another chance on one of these.

Hello Mark and thank you for your post. Please make clear the size of your HBB. Your site says 42.4 mm but every other dealer has it as 44.4mm Is there a large and a small version of the HBB or is your description a mistake?
-
I saw one of these at a local dealer over the weekend and I don't see the attraction. They look like a travel alarm clock on a strap. JMO.........

HBB, polished ceramic bezel + AR for $512!
jfreeman420 replied to Mickey Padge's topic in General Discussion
I don't think these are the same factory. If you look at the rose gold ceramic model the buckle on the ultimate version is PVD where watchmark's version in gold. His rotors do look engraved also. -
Unless it's a Rolex most people don't even know to if they make a fake Panerai. I've gotten more questions like this: "Nice watch. What brand is it?" "It's a Vacheron Constantin" "Wow it looks expensive". If anyone I run into is educated enough to know a Vacheron, or Panerai I will most certainly start a nice replica conversation. There is one guy I run into in the hallway of my office I chat with every now and then. He has a bunch of fake Breitlings and FM's etc. He brags about how his son or someone brought them back from a trip or he bought them on teh street, etc. He also seems proud to know about the "swiss replica" sites where you can get a submariner with solid gold for $1,500. I just say to him "I would never pay that much for a knock off". Maybe some day I'll turn him on to this place

It has been a while since I have seen a newbie post this question. I do notice however that there are requests for the best Breitling, Hublot, Panerai, etc. Has Rolex lost it's mojo? When I first got into watch collecting Rolex was the holy grail. It is good to see many other brands gaining popularity and being repped accurately, but there really hasn't been a major revelation in Rolex reps for a long time. Has China forgotten about Rolex? Is the market for Rolex reps shrinking? I know there is a limited range of models, but the replica factories have yet to perfect even one Rolex design. I had never heard of many of the brands I collect today before I entered the replica world. I knew of Breitling, Patek, Omega and Rolex of course but I had never heard of Panerai. I never see any TV commercials for high end watches yet newbs are constantly requesting these seemingly obscure brand names. Not many people I talk to know a Hublot from a Harley. I guess the age of Rolex is over. I especially thing they are doing themselves in with the new designs. Even rappers are mentioning Audemars instead of Rolex these days.

I have seen dials with rose gold markers. It was a long time ago maybe they stopped making them. Personally this would bother me. The rose gold from the case should reflect enought to give the markers a rose gold shade but it will still clash. Just get the yellow gold case and bracelet.

New Rolex models from the Basel 2008 Show
jfreeman420 replied to piratedzeus's topic in The Rolex Area
I like the 41mm Day Date although the bezel looks a little wierd. Anyone have more pics of these? Are the new subs 42mm? -
I'll take one in size 8 for my pinkie. Can I order it a little bigger with RWG encrusted in diamonds? That would be more my speed.............
-
It's about time the designed an integrated band and bracelet. Maybe this is an indication that other models will follow this design. I think it looks much more modern and expensive this way. Can't wait for the rep.
