this a myth In have several rep and all of them have gone into water with no problem whatsoever the only issue will be to make sure that the case back is tight not too tight. you can Ask around the case back does not need to be super tight that is why there is a rubber seal. I keep hearing not to go into water. if you know your dealer there is no need to worry.
Freddy Now that I see your watch and today is the 11 i can compare with mine definitely is the dial here is the picture.
Can you tell how to make my picture bigger here. Sorry about the poor quality my camera sucks, I really use my watch as a tool watch as you can see. there are scars to prove it. I also took it down to 100 feet last summer.
it does not look that bad there but with the number 10 it looks really weird the one all the way to the left almost touching the dial and the zero lloks so big
Freddy333,
I have the watch put together by The Zigmeister using Gen parts, the movement was bought on Ebay in 2007.
I have the following.
Gen movement 1570
93150 Gen bracelet
Helen wong's insert
MBW case
580 endlinks
Gen tropic
MBW dial
Clarks Hands
Gen springbar
Ofrei Pearl
Gen Tube and Crown
the watch is the on my avatar. let take a picture later to show you how does it look
regards
I have a silver one on my watch with the Flat top 3 and open 6 but I am thinking is not the right one. sometimes the date number is to the left, way too up. but never center. I can also see the border of the date disc if I look in an angle. Maybe I just need a new Dial.
Any thoughts?
This is a fantastic watch I purchased back on July from PT and no problems there IHS by the way. I can not believe that the factory has not fixed the bracelet flaw after all these months. I fixed my using a Noobmariner bracelet swapped the end links and polished to a mirror finish.
Wear it well.
Cheers
I did not even noticed that before. about the red writing been white. he is asking 365.00 i think is too much for a dial that is not even right. Maybe The Zigmeister can change the color of the letters. but then i will a need case back and a super dome.
figures.
Thanks
I have a 1665 MBW that has a 1570 movement installed and a whole lot of gent parts. I contacted Jewelry and watch about a white 1665 dial he sent some picture of the dial supposedly to be a singer base dial. I am not sure if he sent a picture of a gen to fool me.
here is the picture

I need some input.
Thanks

I have to disagree with your comment I have a PT GMT ceramic with a ETA movement. runs perfect and has no problems at all. the Watch was purchase back on July 08.
The problem with this guy is that some of the pictures are from ebay. I have seen them before. mostly likely you will receive something different that you see.
I do not think is illegal to service a rep. Nobody will go to jail for fixing or servicing a rep watch. is not like the watch guy is a dealer of some sort. All he can say is no.
I have a question. Can this fix be done to a DSN 088 it does have the recesed date wheel too. I have been wondering this for a long time already. If this can be done where to get the DW.
Thanks
