  1. I guess you got what you paid for, what do you expect for $50.00. Unless I am missing something. I do not see the point on this thread. Regards
  2. Hello, My 45mm PO will not screw anymore the crown will not turn and the hour can not be set anymore. I need to sen it for repairs. does anybody know of someone here in the us that can service the watch. Thanks
  3. Hello, I have two watches that will not wind I believe, I can turn the crown several times maybe 5 or 6 and then it makes this click sound, I know that is not fully winded because I let sit for days until stops. Anybody has an idea of why. Thanks
  4. I have a catalog from jules borel co. they have a 2893-2 listed for $182.15 you may want to give them a call. www.julesborel.com
  5. the other day I received a brochure from Jules and Borel, I was browsing thru the pages when I found this movement that has a date wheel that looks very much like a Rolex vintage date wheel. I was wondering if someone can comment on this. I am not sure what type of movement is, but the date wheel looks really good. Thanks for your comments.
  6. this is really interesting, I tried this on an old 16610 that I have about a year ago. I use a dremel first to make the bezel thinner so the insert will not have to be touch. I was going on the right direction but I got tired and give up. I need to take this back and do it again. thanks
  7. This is ridiculous, Suppose that you take your car to the dealer for service, the car does not worth more money just because has been service. nobody in his right mind will think that the car is worth more because has been service. I will not even pay the same price as new. Is like trying to sell a Genuine used Rolex for the price of a new one. why buy used when you can buy the same one new. Just my personal opinion.
  8. I am with you my friend my just died after six month, still works but the chrono will not start and is I start it the watch will stop. Definitely a beautiful watch. But a piece of junk. Just to service the watch is $200.00 I am not buying chronos anymore, this was my first and last. That is why I was staying away from them. lack of quality
  9. Can this movement be use on the Tag Link Chrono, I have one that is giving problems, the chrono will start and stop aftere 10 second, and one of subdial continue moving. and if I start the chrono the watch will stop. I am thinking on replacing or maybe servicing the watch. but I think is better to replace it first. Thanks
  10. PM sent for two
  11. The date font does not look right, it has closed 6
  12. The bracelet is Genuine I can tell that. I think there is not many replies because members are tired of Rolex Rep or Gen. I have a MBW 1680, With some mods (Gen Crystal, Gen Spring bars, Gen Dial, Gen Crown, CG modded) I do not wear the watch anymore. I am wearing my 45mm PO and my Tag link Chrono. I wish I could get more genuine part for my sub, it probably will motivate me to wear the watch. Nice looking watch you have there. Congrats
  13. I have a PO 45 too, the only thing that bothers me now is that the pearl does not really glow, I wonder if there is a way to replace the pearl so it will glow as good as the Dial. Cheers
  14. I sent my PO 45mm back to China it cost me $28.00, the crown did not screw back on, I do think that the dealer should pay for shipping back to him and back to me, it only took one week ot get there. I asked the dealer to make sure that nothing is wrong with the watch before I order. I guess they did not check anything. The watch got fix and is back home. Regards and Good luck
  15. Hello, I just got back my PO from Andrew after I sent back for repairs all the way back to China. The watch works perfect, the crown srews back with no problems at all. Andrew is a great guy.. Regards
  16. I have a similar problem with my brand new 45mm PO, from day one the crown did not screw back. I could not wear the watch. At the end I sent it back to Andrew it cost me 28.00 dollars I specifically asked Andrew before ordering the watch, make sure that everything is O.K. with the watch and that it has not problems. I guess they did not check the watch. The watch got fixed and is on is way back to me. I will not be buying anymore watches for a while I already have 5 Cheers
