Do I have to change the existing spring bars or will the ones fitted to my rubber strap work out fine? I have a Seiko Black Monster by the way...

The crown isn't screwed down properly, or am I wrong? Make sure that is possible before accepting the watch.

I can't really comment about price. There once was a very nice rep of that watch, but I think it had happy clown feet. Why not ask him to open the case back and examine the movement?

I once did my own wiring once. Never again! I helped my mother out installing a heating system with a fan outdoors. I don't know anything about electric stuff. One morning she woke up and it was freezing cold inside and the fan was shut down. She went out and the cable box looked like melted marshmallows and the wooden panel on the house had caught fire burning all the way up to the roof. Lucky us the entire ground and roof was covered in snow. Since that day I never touch stuff I don't know $hit about. (Like women... )

The noob looks good, but seem to suffer from crooked markers. I haven't heard any reports of fading bezel insert yet.

No it doesn't mean you have to service it. I've had some luck with a few watches that still run great. But you should be prepared that the movement is a ticking time bomb that needs a service sooner or later. I don't know if there are any rep friendly watchmakers in the UK. Perhaps any other could chime in? Don't use any authorized dealers for a service. Period!

I don't know much about PAMs but the site lists information on genuine watches right?
