    Hi. It depends if you want an accurate replica. Some genuine models do have quartz movements, and then quartz is the way to go.

    I bought a couple of bracelets and rings a few years ago. They were supposed to be made of silver and platinum. Guess what? Brass plated with silver or something. Utter crap. I guess some dealers have decent stuff but I got really bad jewellery.

    I have a 2836 fitted into a UPO and planning on upgrading it with gen tube and crown. So my question is whether the existing stem would fit the gen crown without modifications?
