By the way: How much is a beer in a pub in the US? It seems that you guys find $7.50 quite expensive. We're talking about a glass, like the American pint (473 mL). That's what a regular cheap beer is in the pubs here in Sweden.

Why I was asking this, is because I haven't bought a quartz for >10 years, so I can't even remember. My brother is about to buy a brand new watch, and the watch salesman says it loses or gains 10 seconds a month. Thanks for the replies.

Quartz movement loses 10 sec per month. Is that acceptable and/or normal?
