You should have got the solid gold Franck Muller Casablanca for your dress watch that's as accurate as you'll ever get in a rep... I don't think it even needs mods and uses the same movement as the genuine!

There are no lugholes on this watch. The lugwidth is a standard 20mm. There is a review here and the third picture, you can see that there are no lugholes.

I want to get some thin spring bars. Fat spring bars seem to be available everywhere, but my problem is I want to fit the Doxa rubber strap to my Doxa 600T and the watch has 1 thin spring bar and 1 fat spring bar for the bracelet. The thin spring bar fits the rubber strap, but the fat one won't...! Any ideas where to get good high quality thinner spring bars cheaply? Thanks!

Klingsor - I love these GMT watches but have never bought a rep RLX or Omega GMT as they have to have modified ETA movements (in my eyes reliability is a question) to function like the real thing (ie. independently adjustable HOUR hand not GMT hand). ETA 2893 movement does not give a very useful GMT functionality for the traveller (I've posted about this a long time ago if anyone cares to search) and besides is not how the real thing works. Also, wouldnt these cost a lot of money for Silix to buy and then tear apart and rep ? I don't know about everyone else, but this would not have me make a first RLX GMT rep purchase... (the medical chrono was a much better one!)

Shouldn't be a problem with the crown position, just rotate the movement so the stem is at the 4 o'clock position. Real titanium on this and it'll be great. Use the same movement as the PAM027/8 power reserves, and we have exactly what is needed for this watch I won't be bothering purchasing any Omegas (as much as I like them, but with 7 already and a possible look at the 45mm PO... and other great ones I dont have like the Double Eagle, etc) or rlx's. As much as I like IWC it is the same story there... there are other manufacturers making some more so that is well covered there. The GP Seahawk is lovely Where's thomasng when you need him ? I think he's handled the genuine a lot and will tell you how great it is

Only one device was found... maybe it was a prototype (and the ship sank so no more made!) or a very limited run. Highly collectible!

Agreed, but in titanium... how good would that be ? Both are good, but we don't really see good GP reps... ! We have IWCs, Omegas, RlX's, etc etc... go for something different yet still lovely... go for the GP Seahawk

I definitely agree with TTK here, a Girard Perregaux in real titanium with power reserve model is definitely one that I would want!

Giving star ratings to anyone is not a good thing... a good dealer one day could be a bad dealer next. An unscrupulous dealer could build up good will and then scam a lot of people in future once orders are piling in. I'm not saying that will happen here but you never know what can happen in a person's life. An example is luckyyy who seemed like a decent dealer and then I started seing posts about him being a scammer etc and now he seems to have disappeared. (note: i had one watch from him and received it, so no problem from me).

They used tritium because of the depths it would go to. The PAM 1000m watches use tritium as well for that reason. The white dial one was apparently discontinued due to lack of sales. Was this one definitely stainless steel ?

Towards reps it was a girl... and it was the ubiquitous RlX ... I realised soon after that people rarely look at or notice what watch I wear and moved away from that brand to others I like, such as Omega, Breitling, AP, Panerai, IWC etc and the obsession continues apace. I still don't have that girl, but a whole stack of watches that have emptied my bank account of all my 2 year's worth of savings
