I don't want to seem pedantic, but there seems to be alot of reflection for a crystal with AR here! A good AR such as on the HBB, and BCE will eliminate reflections given back, it's not whether there is a blue glow from the crystal.
I took two links out and it was too tight. I put one back in, and moved the braclet round on the fine tuning holes on the clasp.
Still a bit loose, but blood now circulates to my hands!
Go with the Swiss. I always go by the rule, that if there is a Swiss option, go with it. I know it can't be guranteed that they won't go wrong, but it is less likely!
They may well at some point do another rep of this watch, but don't be surprised if they introduce a different flaw!
I would buy the current rep available, its very very good!
Unless you had the gen next to it you wouldn't notice. I think the pictures probably exagerate the flaw to some extent!
Sounds like the UK are less stringent on this kind of thing! I have never given it a second thought when purchasing a watch from any dealer!
TTK, PT or Narikaa would be safest bets!
The lume was also too green if I remember correctly. The Ultimate edition is definitely the one to buy!
There are some other coloured dials on the way, wait around until you see some reviews of those? I have the white and that is really nice! There is another dark coloured dial released if the Graphite doesn't appeal!
As said, in the picture, it looks like there is no crystal, that is one of the tell tale signs of AR. In certain lighting conditions you also get the purple/blue hue across the face of the crystal. Really looks good when you catch it in the light and the blue AR comes across the white dial!!
Im pretty sure that the normal one was the version that was being sold by most dealers before this new one was released. So it would be less accurate than the Ultimate edition.
I think this is the smartest looking combo!
Has anyone ever been in water with a leather strap? Just wondering if it will affect the strap horrendously if it is submerged in water?
Wow, just put the brown strap on my old navitimer black dial, old asian movement 3,6,9 (thought I'd practice on it first before tackling the BCE ) looks awesome, love the watch again. The BCE will have to stay on steel for now!!
Sounds quite similar to prices in the UK, maybe slightly cheaper. I bought a gen leather strap for £80. If you want a leather strap, speak to Angus. I bought an extra one with my Chronomat for very cheap, and it is very very good!
I received my BCE Swiss White dial today. I tried taking pictures with the digital camera, but it shows no detail whatsoever!!
All I can say is that it is incredible! I have taken it down to my watchsmith's to get it re-sized, where they kindly commented on it
I recommend getting this watch from Angus. Great dealer, great watch!!!!!
Next purchase, the Steelfish without a shadow of doubt!
