  1. good spot! I must admit, prior to the release of the Big Bang, I had never heard of Hublot!
  2. Ok this needs to be said. People who mod our watches, people such as Finepics have another job aswell as this. Finepics does this for a hobby, he helps us out. He has already said before that he has gone into a semi-retirement, in essence trying to cut back on the workload. I hate it when people keep bugging people, such as Finepics asking where their watch is, or where they are etc... He has a lot of things on at the moment so will have difficulty in replying to people. We have to be patient. I know for sure, when I get in from a long day, all I want to do is relax, the last thing I would want to do is stay up until the early hours modding a watch!! If the minority consistently hound the people who offer these services, we may just find it forces such services away from the board. This isn't aimed at anyone in particular, and I know the the majority are very patient, but I just thought it is worth mentioning!!
  3. I am definitely willing to spend a bit more on the superlume if it is required! Looks like a stunning piece!
  4. Great watch I have a Davidsen Pam, it runs beautifully!
  5. I spoke to Finepics a few weeks ago., He has alot on at the moment. If you have a watch with him, rest sussred he hasn't forgotten about you! Just give him a bit of time! James
  6. This is definitely the Chronomat to purchase! Check out the other post 'so who's waiting.......' for pictures of the latest dials
  7. I think that is just the angle of the photo and the reflection in the chrome coloured surface.
  8. The 4th gen is the closest 42mm I have seen, I own a black one, and apart from the pearl, and a small gap between bracelet and the watch case, its pretty much spot on! Oh, and the AR haha
  9. I was referrring to the reps being made to look lik the gens with the AR. You are completely correct though, adding AR will make it less accurate. This is where personal preference and long term plans for the watch come into it. I think I would leave it as it is.
  10. Excellent comparison! The Fiddy certainly is one chunky watch!
  11. If the gens (Omega PO and Breitlings to name a few) have this coat, then surely applying an AR coat with the tint makes the replica more accurate! This is what modding is all about, and would therefore explain why more and more people are seeking to find this service! I assumed that all heavy AR coatings produced some kind of tint due to the way it refracts the light? Applying it to a gen that doesn't have an AR coat is a different kettle of fish, but its all down to personal taste! I hate the glare produced by my watches that don't have AR! This isn't meant to come across as an angry reply, very hard to phrase things with expression over the internet as we all know! James
  12. I wear my 4th gen PO all the time. Its turned onto my daily beater! Such a nice watch, it stays on my wrist!!
  13. Im 90% sure I can make it! Il be travelling up from Brighton if the fellow Brighton people want to arrange travel? I've got a Chronomat on order from angus, so if it's here by then, Il bring it with me!!! Could someone take an example of the Ultimate PO?
  14. Wouldn't want to give you too easier a time This may be of some help though..........(BCE - Breitling Chronomat Evolution when you read the topic by the way) http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...7357&st=180
  15. Sorry Shultz just read this, so ignore my above question If you would be willing to pop the crystals out and send them let me know! I would definitely be interested in being on the second batch when I get my Ultimate PO! James
  16. Single coat yes, double coat, I can't find anyone as yet! So I take it you know how to remove and replace the crystal? If you do would you be willing to do as mentioned?
  17. It is indeed, only ever made in Titanium. Chronomat is the SS Breitling to go for at the moment!
  18. Pugwash I am also in Europe and interested in getting a crystal AR coated next time. Maybe we could arrange with someone to send the watch as a whole to them, pop out the crystal, then send it over to the US? A middle man of sorts?
  19. Yeh they're both the same watch, and both are good dealers! Its a shame it's not Titanium as said, Breitling never made a S/S chrono avenger. Its still an awesome watch that I will probably end up buying very soon!
  20. Please sell this to me
  21. The problem is the logo on the Ultimate PO has the logo from a 42mm. So if replace it with a 42mm logo, it will look exactly the same. A 42mm dial won't fit the 45mm, the date window is further from the outter bezel on the 45mm. As far as sourcing a gen dial, do ofrei sell them? Ebay maybe?
  22. As far as I know, there is no accurate replica out there at the moment! The old batch were really good, the new ones with the new Asian movement have taken a step backwards!! Start a petition to bring back the old avengers and seawolf's????
  23. Breilting navitimer (old mvement 3,6,9) Joshua I still own it, but dont wear it anymore
  24. I've tried setting an account up over at the Darkside. I can't log in due to my account not being activated, but I have recieved no email. I did put it in correctly. Does anyone have the administrators email address please?
