  7. Definitely, serious dealers know how to handle such cases and are always glad to help you...well most of them at least!!! Remember...this is what they do
  8. No,no by all means it didn't say that.In my case the loss was due to my responsibility.I choose to send the watch via unregistered mail,so the risk was pretty high.I have sent a lot of watch back and forth either via courier services or via registered mail and everything went great. My advice to you (if i am permitted to give one of course)is to contact your dealer first and report the problem. He will guide you through this and make sure you get what you have paid for.No worries mate.
  9. I have to agree that the Carrera line is looking good. It is a very reliable timepiece with great chrono functions(not that i ever use them anyway!!!) I especially like the ss bracelet,it has a sturdy and beautiful design and the open back case which allows to view the mvt.Heavy...and although it is not COSC certified i have to say that it keeps great time.I like best the two tone/white dial one but i got the black ss cause i wanted a more sportive look. The only thing that i dislike is that the crown is completely unprotected, since it is not a screw in crown and is prone to an easily damage. Definitely a keeper... John
  10. Well...there is an even worse case scenario!!!imagine just receiving a brand new daytona, finding out that it runs more than TEN!!! minutes faster in an hour, shipping it back to China and...guess what...getting lost on the way or stolen or seized by the customs!!!(i never found out what happened btw!!!)
  11. Actually there's enough UN posts for him to have his own area at UN HQ!!! If only Rolf W. Schnyder is watching this....
  12. Wow man...that really sounded wayyyy too deep...RWG UNITED NATIONS AMBASSADOR... Well i guess RobbieG would be the man for this job!!! This guy is a real asset to the RWG family... Respect John
  13. Thank you Robbie.I was trying to find a caliber l502 but there was no indication that this brand had ever used a caliber l502!!!I would never have thought that this could be a Valjioux 7733 ebauche Well, thats why you are here i guess!!! With great respect as always towards you John

  18. OK!!!i got one...
  19. Well i usually tend to give the owner of the watch the benefit of the doubt...i never assume, not a good attitude. Besides i really don't care if ppl around me assuming that i am wearing a rep or a gen. I wear watches cause i like them, reps or gens. Its my casual wear along with my nikes and my lee jeans... And yes...i do like the design of my SSD and my SUB and the way they feel on my wrist. I also like the Navis, great looking watches(i got a Datora and a Navitimer on their way for an AR treatment from Chief, through Rocketman...) and a Blackbird(heavy and goodlooking!!!) Although i have two PAMs,i find them bulky and heavy for daily beaters. So in my list Rollies are No1 and Breits are No2...PAMs come last... Cheers John
