It will be an early version of the BCE mate. There are I think 3 versions of this watch out. If you look for the comparison reviews that people have done, they will help you know the difference between the 3 different versions. Mainly it's due to a missing tick on a sub dial, different date fonts etc. Sixx

The finish on these pieces is fantastic! Made at a time when the factories actually gave a damn about what they made instead of how many could they make!! I have ultra sensitive touch, being blind does that to you, and can tell you for certain that I don't own any other reps as well made as these! I have some reps that are superbly made and finished, some of the new Breits and Tags for example, but these are a cut above! Real craftmanship went into these!! I believe the RO is the same size as the cartel versions, just way better made! Sixx

Andy, I would go for the first option personally. I always prefer the classic 3/4 button jacket, just makes the suit sit nicer I feel. Odd coming from me I know, but I used to wear one everyday for work and have a fair sized collection of suits! I may even have a sniff at the first one myself!! Sixx

If Tony doesn't have them, try putting up a want to buy in the trade section. Maybe someone has one in a box that doesn't get much wrist time? Always worth a shot, if you have done this already, apologies! Sixx

Nothing wrong with a 21j movement mate, it does the job nicely! If you really want, you could ask some of the Omega WIS's if they know if you could drop an ETA movement in there, but usually the cases are different sizes, dials are different etc. No harm in asking though! Don't let the 21j put you off, the POrikka has the same movement and it's prolly one of the biggest selling watches out there!! Good luck either way man!! Sixx

I would go with Mikes advice, try and get it fixed, if that fails then a full service will see your watch right for about 5 years or so depending on how well it's worn! Mike, I meant to PM you earlier, my BB died on me, I know you have played with a couple, is there something in particular that usually goes on this model? I know the movement mods for the tri-compax and big date make it a bit of a timebomb, but I love it and really want her up on her wheels again! Any advice would be gold dust big guy!! Did you meddle with my 11 screw mr George?!? lol. Thanks for the kind words my friend! It is the older dial, more of a cream finish than the silvery finish on the newer ones! I'm going to take some more pics of that and the Millenary and see if anyone knows more about them. And of course try and track down George and make him fix my screw!!! lol Sixx

So, it would appear that I'm now 2 years old in RWG years!! I didn't even notice until my screenreader went across my avatar earlier today!! I've had an amazing time in this Forum, met some amazing people and a few dumbasses as well of course, but mainly really good people!! Those of you who know me know how much this Forum has done for me over the last couple of years! It's given me the chance to learn to use a computer again, get into watches again, 2 things I never thought I would be able to do again!! I have made friends here that I will cherish for life, people who have went way far out of their way to help me out, been awesome friends when I needed them and have constantly been my 'eyes' on the Forum for me!! Guys like hackR, Bike Mike, HikeUSA, Vlydog, Toadtorrent, Lanikai, PeteM, Blackbard, Jmarin, Andy, Samurai, the list is endless really and I could be here all day name checking people. Please just know that I remember every person who has helped me and been a friend!! I cannot thank you enough! Even some of the head knockers have turned out to be fun! Fakey for example, the guy drives me insane, but when it comes right down to it, even he was there for me when I needed it, from a guy who I have battled with on and off since I came here, I think thats pretty special! Had great laughs making fun of Dave123 for being a big jessie and generally had fun poking fun at some people who took themselves way too seriously. There have been a few very unpleasant moments in my time here, but I would much rather leave them in the past where they belong and carry the lesson learned from them. It is a very rare occurance for unpleasantness on this forum, but as a wiseman once said "where there is life there is people and where there are people there are arseholes!!" Wise man indeed!! So I would like to say a huge thank you to all on here, friends and foes alike, you have made something I thought I would never be able to do again happen! For that there is not enough money or watches in the world! From the bottom of my, admittedly rather soiled heart, a massive thank you to Admin, TT, Big Minty Bear (Nanuq for those not keeping up!) and all mods old and new for giving me the chance to live 'outside' again!!
