hackR's right, there was a post a few weeks back, it was about something else that had been coated but it linked to the bracelet coating. Not sure if it was in Avitts sig or a link in the post, but it's definately around here somewhere, I'll try find it for you Pete. I remember him saying he wasn't too keen on coating a bracelet because of how they are made up and also because it would be a different colour from the watch (watch was a V2 BS). In the end it all turned out very cool, has slightly differing shades from different angles. Sounded very cool! I have a V1 SA if you want it bud and Vlydog is selling a gen Avitt DLC'd clasp in the parts sales I think it is! I agree, I hate the rubber too, I just got BlackBard to make me a black gator strap with the correct colour red stitching! Something different than the 'normal' HKTan strap that Lani made famous! I'm sure you will mate, times can go crazy for delivery!! I got a watch from a member on here called hackR, sent just normal first class air from New York and got it 4 days later!! Then just in the past 3-4 weeks I had to wait for just over 4 weeks for another rep from a guy not too far from there, he sent it priority air!!?!? Just one of the minor irritations of our hobby though I guess! The Speedy is a great looking and feeling watch and at around 40mm (ish) it doesn't drag your arm behind you as you try to walk with it!! A lot of the Rolexs are a pretty mid-sizeish watch too, the Sub is around 40mm as are most of the popular models. But don't get the DSSD if you are worried about size! It's a beast and defo run away from Breitling and AP's!! lol Seriously, as Lani said, you will get used to how much bigger most of the big brand name watches are! They aren't your average Casio size for sure! Sixx

The VC was going to be my 2 cents worth, but Lani beat me to the punch! So now it's only my pennies worth!1 The Milgauss is a really nice piece and most of the dealers are putting them out for less than $200 easy!! Have to say, I love big chunky watches, but the VC Overseas and my Ingy are still in my top 5 reps that I own! The VC just whispers class, it doesn't feel the need to shout! Watchhunter, try having a look on the parcel force website or DHL. They usually deal with air packets rather than the RM. Oh, and for future refrence, ETZ do an EU delivery service so you don't have the usual customs hassles etc. It also cuts out a large chunk of the waiting time for you! I would suggest a new bracelet bud, I've had this problem with 2 of my link bracelets. No matter what you try to do to fix it, it will still pop open as you will never get the same pressure into the rivet spring again! Sixx

I have my V3 black dial on the leather with deployant, it feels great on it! Tend to swap between the leather and black Sharkskin! Mmmm, I love sharky sharky!! The bezel on mine is solid and feels real good, the pearl is nice and even and I'm told the lume is pretty good too.! All round top choice! Sixx

By-Tor, you talk about Creatine, have you seen the ad for the Force-Max Acai supplement and another one that has just went right out of my head, it's basically a Ph balanced creatine suppliment. On the outside, perfect, but you see all these ads for Acai supps everywhere, hell Dr Phil and Oprah take them, or endorse them anyways!! My point though, what is your thinking to a Ph balanced creatine supplement? Supposedly the guys in 300 took it to try and build lean muscle, or, some pretty model boy/metrosexual six pack abs with wimpy muscles, was how I think you scucinctly put it!! lol I'm real skinny, but use a total core and Perfect (lazy susan) pushups, those 2 for the reasons that my back has been broken in 4 places, mainly in my thorasics region and I'm functionally paralysed down oneside. Trust me, lifting weights when you really don't know what your right arm is doing is NOT what you're after!! lol. I just want to strengthen my core for stability of broken bits and try and stop my arm from wasting away, I have killer tattoo sleeves that require at least a bit of muscle to pull off!! lol. But although, I'm wicked unhealthy, built like the thick end of a potatoe chip and am blind and paralysed, I try!! I also have several close friends who build, like seriously build, to compete. and, sadly, as By-Tor said, if you wanna get big you gotta jab your arse and jab into muscle groups, ie, arms to make em bigger for a few days! (WTF?!?!) But it's their thing and they don't give me too hard a time for smoking like a chimney and drinking more than a fairly large body of armed forces, so it goes. But one thing that was going on for a while that really did scare me, was when the war in Bosnia and surrounding areas was going on, there was harvesting of some kind of anabolic or steroidal liquid from dead soldiers!? Now this stuff was coming over here, it was unscreened in vials and guys were falling over themselves to get at it!!? One of my best friends dealt GHB to his training buddies, I understand it helps with training harder, which was cool until it was labled as a daterape drug and he pulled back from it, but he got a trial of this stuff in, like 40 vials or something, I couldn't believe he was actually thinking of trying it!? This is a seriously intelligent guy, has his own business etc and he was actually considering putting this shite in his body?! Now I ain't no saint, but in all my drunken debauchery I have never gone so far as to put that kind of bodily fluid into myself!! I think it's the fact that they try and pass off PVD SS as Carbon that raises the hackles!! I've been around motorcycles and Motorcycle racing for a long time, I have seen fake carbon that I would still swear is Carbon and it costs next to nothing! Then again I have seen some total shockers that have tried to pass themselves off as Carbon. But bottom line is, it really isn't hard to made wicked strong plastic that looks and feels like Carbon! Well once polished and as long as you can't see the backside of it of course, but none the less, it is way cheaper and easier to make a mold for plastic and use plastic in it rather than SS surely?!? I'm blind and I'm with Fakey on the colour of it!!! Sixx
