  1. Sorry, I know it's Panerai. New keyboard and now looking stupid! Steve
  2. Hey all you PAM fans! I'm thinking about buying my first PAM (111M from Joshua) and am looking for some advice. I really like the looks of the watch, but I'm afraid of the size and the bling factor. Here's what I have so far: Ebel BTR Ebel Discovery UPO Chrono UPO Franeken (lots of mods, almost a Gen. I LOVE this watch!) IWC InGenuier Thoughts on the 111M? Sounds like it has it all, but is that just hype? I'm thinking of the 111M with rubber strap, but not sure. Opinions? How's the bling factor? I'm a pretty conservative 54 year old, so too much bling will be bad. Do they wear big? I'm thinking it's about the size of my Ebel BTR. I like big, but not TOO big. Thanks all for your time and help! Steve
  3. I don't know what this is.

Too many watches, too little money!

  4. As soon as they do I'm getting one!
  5. I love my Ingy! I was interested in the Aquaracer awhile back and texted Joshua about it. He recommended I look at another watch because the movement of he Aquaracer is not reliable (he said). I've read reviews here that say the movement is okay, but not sure. I'm sure there are oters here with more knowledge than me about this. But hey, I love my Ingy! Good luck!
  6. WOW! I like this one too. I think the size change is great! Want more Omegas, but the sizes just seem too small. Thanks Chief!
  7. Great photos! I went on Perfect Clones to look it over too! It's now on my list of must have!!!
  8. Not a place I will ever go, so I am really enjoying your stories. Can't wait for the next episode!
  9. Not yet. The wife sorta stopped me for a while. Something about her birthday! Go figure. Anyway, it's still on the list and when she's again a supporter I'll start collecting again. Thanks for the pictures! Steve
  10. Very nice review morlock! Thanks for all your work on this.
  11. Ditto deltatahoe! I haven't been a member for long, but it didn't take me long at all to recognize lani for a key member and reach out to him with many Noob questions. What a guy! Always willing to help not only members, but also the community in total. Very befitting for him to receive a recognition of the person he is! Thanks lani, and welcome back to your second home!
  12. I agree with jmb, PERFECT! I'm not an ebay person so I never thought of looking there. I did tonight and found just what I wanted. Thanks Pugwash! They're on their way!
  13. Great question bubu. I've been searching for a way to find mine and also add a few more. Hopefully someone will know and tell us how. Wishing us luck!
  14. Can anyone tell me where I can find some of the clear plastic watch display pieces used in photographing? These are the ones that fit inside the strap or bracelet and act like your wrist (strap or bracelet closes around them)? I hope I'm describing them correctly. I'm not even sure what they're called. I want to get some for my collection and photography but can't seem to locate them on the web. Any help is sure appreciated! Steve
  15. I've probably missed it, but is there a way to "star" topics with the new RWG like we could with the old? I'd like to star this one so I can find it again when I want to polish my watches. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks! S
  16. This is great gio! Thanks for taking the time to post it for us. What a family!
  17. This is inded a very imformatiove and detailed review of a beautiful watch. Thanks for taking the time to put it together for us. I want one of these , but I think I'll wait to see the different dial colors that Ive read are coming. The blue is beautiful, and I'll probably choose it after seeing the others, but I want to wait to be sure. I too like the bolder date font and the deeper cut waves. I hope they post the other dial colors soon!
  18. Welcome to the family! Be sure to post pctures when they arrive! We love pictures!!
  19. Beautiful watch. I can't tell from the web sites, is the band blue also? If it is, is it a dark or lighter blue? Thanks!
  20. Is this a common problem on the v5? I'm thinking of ordering one. Thanks!
  21. Thanks to all of you for posting your pictures. I found an AD today and tried on all the versions of the BR2. Urabus is right, that's a BIG watch! I think I like the PVD version the best. I'm going back the AD this weekend because I didn't have a lot of time there. It's a great store: Oris, Bell & Ross, Longines, Raymond Weil, U-Boat, and lots of others. No pressure, and i can try on any watch I want. great folks! Thanks again! S
  22. Don't worry about it. It's not as though these watches come with a manual! enjoy your new toy!
  23. Mike, thanks for the input. And thanks for remembering my UPO project. Sometimes I think I'm going to forget about it because it's still at Vac's. I think it'll come home in a few weeks though. It's in this run of Chief's AR. Vac has had all the parts for many weeks. Can't wait to get it back. I will see if there is a B&R AD in Salt Lake City. If there is, I'm there! I really like this watch. Thanks again. Steve
