Very nice! I'm not a Pam fan yet as I haven't been to an AD to try them on, but I'm sure when I do I'll probably start collecting them too.
-
Thanks Lanikai!! Those are truly great pics and I can't wait to get the Chief AR on that watch. Urabus told me the gen bezel was expensive, but I didn't realize it was that much. I agree with you, I think the money would be better spent on the next project, or just building my collection - I bought an SOH from an RWG member today! Hey, I like your den!!! When I'm in Hawaii visiting my daughter I'll hit you up for a tour! Again, thanks for all your help!

I think a gen bezel is pretty expensive, and I've read that it is not an exact match. Difficult mod? If it is, that's something I can do later (after I've saved up some more cash!).

Chief is awesome! I've been a member of this board since December and everyone I've PMed with questions, those that have commented on posts I've made, all are great. What a supportive community! Finding this place was like coming home to me! Thanks Chief!

Maybe I'm a bit off today! You send your crystal to Vac who sends to CT for AR, then when xtal is returned to Vac he does the switch and sends you my rep xtal. Do I have it now?
-
Awesome watches guys! And sure shows off CT's work well. This IS a great community L. Great people, great topic!

Thanks Michael! Good to hear from you. Thanks to MasterofPuppets too! I think it would get it back in my hands faster, and probably only about $75 more than CT's AR. I was thinking the same thing. What the heck! Like I said, in for a nickel, in for....a lot! I have an email into Vac to find out. I'll let you know what I do.

Hey watch fans! I've sent my UPO off to Vac to have some gen parts added and need some advice. Here's what 's being done: Gen Dial Gen Hands Gen Crown and tube Gen HE valve full service I was thinking of having the crystal AR done by Chief, but now I'm wondering if I should just go all the way with the mod and get a gen crystal. Total gen mod. I think there's an AR crystal available. What do you think? Sure appreciate your advice!

Beautiful watch! I'd keep her and be VERY nice to her!

If shipping to USA is alright with you I'll thke both the strap and clasp. PM me on how to pay you By-Tor. Thanks!!!
-
I'm in the USA. That OK?

I just went on Perfect Clones and saw the version with the strap. I purchased the one with the bracelet because I read somewhere on RWG that it was best to do that becasue the bracelets are hard to get later, straps are easier. I sent Joshua an email asking how to get one and what the cost is. I assume I can get one from other sources too?
-
So are there spring bar holes in the case to attach the strap and the screws just get placed back into the case for storage or just leave them out? I REALALY like it on that strap in your article. That's the watch I have. I suppose I can buy the strap from any supplier with a picture of what I want. Thanks By-Tor. Ever helpful, as usual!

Was wondering if anyone knows how to put a strap on the Ebel BTR. It comes with a nice bracelet but I was thinking of putting on a nice black strap and can't figure out how. Looks like the bracelet ends are screwed into the case. No pins or spring bars. Can anyone help? If a strap will work, anyone know the size? Thanks!

Very nice post Lanikai! Thank you. My son served in Iraq for 7 months with the Marines and feels very strongly that his service there helped to protect our great country. All service men and women should feel the same way! Thank you to all of them!

Beautiful watch, and man I love that band!

Good morning all! I am looking for a new watch and have been using Joshua with absolutely no issues. Great, fast service and great watches. I was reading some comments other posts about quality control and some vendors just being drop shippers, so I decided to look at the Eurotimez site. On reading, it appears they take possession of the watch and check it over pretty well before shipping to the user. Just wondering if a change to Eurotimez for quality reasons might be smart. They are just slightly higher in cost, but maybe that's worth it if they perform the QA checks first. What do you think?

Awesome picture man!

Evaluation of EuroTimez V5 DSSD compared to my Gen.

Nice review! Thanks for taking the time to do this. I'm considering this watch, but the Asian 21j version as they are supposed to be identical in parts other than the movement. Anyone have any experience with the version with the Asian 21j movement? Also, does anyone know if the version on Joshua's site Perfect Clones is V5? I can't tell by the pics. Thanks! -
Nice work Vac. As soon as I can give up my UPO I'm sending it to you. Ijust can't stop wearing it!
-
Beautiful watch man! Congrats!
-
Very nice Prsist! I'm still thinking hard about this one. I like the MontBlanc Chrono too, but I think I'm leanig this way. thanks for the great pics! Wear it well!!!
-
My prayers are with you! Get well soon.

Beautiful watch! I'm thinking about adding a Pan to my collection but not sure which one. this one is REALLY nice! Thanks for sharing!
-
Hey there Pan fans! I've Bern a member of this forum for only a few months and already have an Ebel BTR and Omega UPO in my collection or only two reps! A nice start I think. Now I have my sights on a Panerai. I like the 288 Radiomir Chrono, but not sure. It doesn't seem to have the same comments on Joshua's site like "made with a genuine watch as sample," or double AR. Though I like the Radiomir Chrono, I'm also open to suggestions if you have a favorite. Doesn't have to be a chrono. What do you think, is the 288 a good/great rep? Any others I should consider? My budget is $300-$400 US. Thanks for your help!!!
