  1. Doc, VERY funny! Can't stop laughing. Reference to Mr. Magoo was assume! Brought back way too many memories. Red, thanks for the quick pic. It is a bit hard to visualize on your wrist though. Do you have one that's a bit more wrist? I sure appreciate the pics and comments guys! Steve
  2. Hi all! I'm REALLY thinking about getting the non-chrono version of this watch after looking at pictures on RWG and reading Lanikai's review. Before I do, I was hopping some of you would post your wrist shots. Looks like a beautiful watch, I would just like to see some more wrist shots before I pull the trigger. Any comments on your watches would help as well. Thanks for your help and time! S
  3. Very nice watch! Hard to see the photos because they came through pretty large. I've been thinking of getting the non-chrono version. How large is your wrist? Wear it well!!!
  4. Very nice. I'm sure your dad will love it. If he doesn't, PM me and I'll take it off your hands!
  5. GLAD to read your post Lani! VERY glad you're doing better and will be home soon. You're a great person, and a big part of RWG...we missed you! Don't overdo it; get plenty of rest and get strong! Sounds like you had a real rough time. Welcome home! S
  6. Can you tell me what the AR is like? I see a 21j version on Perfect Clones but it has no AR. Rubber strap? How is it?
  7. Can you post a wrist pic? Any other pics as well? Me liky that.
  8. That's a beautiful watch! Congrats. Can you tell me what model it is? Really, very nice.
  9. Welcome back Lani! It's GREAT to see a post from you. I hope and pray you're better now, and getting even better every day! We missed you.
  10. Well said Vlydog! Well said.
  11. I love the new skin. I am now using Firefox. IE8 still not working for me.
  12. Still very slow and then crashes. Firefox works great.
  13. Congrats! Being married is awesome when you have the right partner!
  14. Seriously, I would have given up because I don't have the time or the knowledge to find a fix myself. If Halo hadn't have told me to get Firefox, I'd have give up and tried to come back once in a while. Not that I'm not devoted to the site, I just don't have the time to spend.
  15. Halo, YOU THE MAN! Thanks so much. Got your post on my Blackberry right away and downloaded Firefox and here I am. Thanks sooooo much! Now I can get that RWG fix I've been missing!
  16. Every since the change my computer either locks up when I try to get online or it takes 5-10 minutes to get a page, then locks up when I click on anything. I'm using my crackberry to post this. Can anyone help? Gotta have my RWG! I get email notifications on this so please post if you have any ideas. Thanks!
  17. I've done it before too. It feels ........ Creepy! Naked. Wrong. What bothers me is that I'm so into watches, how could I not notice? Am I losing my mind?
  18. Looking for a little help from fellow Omega lovers. Vac has my UPO and is adding a lot of Gen parts for me: crown, tube, HE valve, dial, hands. Also servicing, aligning the bezel, waterproofing, Chief's AR. I read about Ubi's mod on his PO and he also added a gen datewheel. Vac has had mine now for a few months and I didn't have it long before I sent it to him to Frankenize (is that a word?), so I don't remember what the rep datewheel looked like. So the question is, does it make sense to add a gen datewheel (if available) too, or is the rep datewheel acceptable? If it's a mod I should also do, any suggestions on where to get the datewheel (Ofrei?)? Thanks for your help with this. Hopefully I'll have my baby back home in 3-4 weeks!
  19. This looks awesome Ubi. I wish I had the confidence to do the work myself. My UPO is with Vac getting all this and more. He's also adding the gen crown/tube/HE valve, chief AR, servicing, waterproofing. Your project has made me think maybe I should add the date wheel while he has it apart. Hmmmmmm. Thanks for the thought, and the great pictures!
  20. Sounds like a GREAT time Stilty. Believe me, when you're kids are grown and gone you will remember and cherish these days with them. Stay close to your children!
  21. I've always wanted a Breitling, but just wouldn't give up the cash. In September of 2008 a customer had on a Bentley which he was VERY proud of. I started looking for a used one on line and came across references to replica watches. Did a little more research and found RWC the same night. Joined immediately! Read non-stop for days, then decided to buy an Ebel BTR. Six reps later, I'm still looking for more. I love this place! Family!!
  22. I wear both the straps and the brqcelets loose enough to get a finger between the wrist and the band. I can't twist them around, but they are a bit loose.
