Hey Pam fans! I've never owned a Panerai and really didn't think I would as I love the Omegas and Ebels I have. But I'm looking to branch out and like the look and size of some of the Panerais (is that the plural version?). In particular, I'm looking at this as an one: http://www.jpc8118.com/pn22202-regetta-bra...nal-p-1645.html What do you think, is this a good place to start? I notice none of the Pams have "double AR." Does that mean it's a good idea to get Chief's AR on any Pam, or do they not need it? I love the look of the bracelet. How does it hold up? Thanks for your help!

I haven't seen any double AR UPOs on any of the cartel sites. I don't think they have double AR. the chrono version does though.

I found this amazing group and hobby some months ago, and have been hooked since. All of you have been so helpful to a Noob looking for knowledge. And thanks to RWG admin for this terrific site! Before I show off my collection, I wanted to put my collecting watches into some perspective for you. Here is my wife's favorite watch. She wears it all the time. Says it keeps great time, even when she's not wearing it, she doesn't have to wind it and a battery lasts years, and it's a genuine, and it was FREE. What's not to love? Luckily she is a wonderful person and puts up with my "rather odd" (her words) hobby. She even helped me build this light box today. cost me about $40 and took one hour. So here's my family so far: My first watch was the Ebel BTR: Then a UPO, but Vac is working on it, adding gen hands, dial, crown, tube, HE valve, service, Chief AR. I miss it, but hopefully it will be home in a few weeks and I'll post pics for you. Then I bought an awesome SHO from sporsterrider: Then these two arrived: (crappy pic of the UPO with camera refelcted in it, I'm new to this photography stuff) Not sure what's next, but I have my eye on a SMP, Mont Blanc Timewalker, IWC 3717, or IWC Slevin. Hmmm. I just compared asian7750.com to Perfect Clones on two watches. The Ebel Discovery is $50 less from Perfect Clones, the Aquatimer Slevin is $30 more at Perfect Clones. I think you really have to shop. I've had nothing but great service and watches from Joshua at Perfect clones and I think I'll stay with him.

I just got a UPO Chrono with double AR, but I don't see any UPOs with it. Where did you buy it?

I've used Joshua exclusively and so far have nothing but great things to say. All watches have been as expected, great return of my email questions. That said, I know there are others here who feel just as strongly about their dealers. In the end, you just have to take the plunge and hope for the best. Sticking with one of the dealers on this forum is the best bet. Good luck!

Does anyone know if the Mont Blanc Timewalker Chrono can me modded in any way? Looks like a beautiful watch! I know it needs AR, but what about the crown, dial, hands etc? Appreciate your help!
