Indeed...the dry down is much much better. I also agree about the over hype. It's a good sent...but not worth $165.00 for a 50ml.. Imho. That said... the dry down Is very nice.
I'm going to order a sample Chergui Serge Lutens. Going by the notes I should love It. We will see.
Thanks to my good friend I'm wearing Musc Ravageur this morning. I'm getting this animalistic vibe mixed In with some spice./cinnamon. I hate to say It but my nose Is picking up on a fecal note. Dry down can't come soon enough. All kidding aside... I have read that MR has a fantastic creamy dry down. So I'm sure that I will enjoy this one very much.

If It has the superlume then It's a V2. It looks like yours has the superlume. Great looking SF.....congratulations.
My UN Maxie does the same thing when screwing the crown back In. Just make sure you dont have a full wind when setting the time. You don't want to over wind when screwing the crown back In.

Quite possible... must be a older model. I dont remember seeing this one as a rep ever. I really like the blacked out numbers on the bezel. Beautiful Breitling.
I cant be a 100% sure.. but It looks like the older titanium Seawolf on a Pro II bracelet. There was a rep of this several years back I believe. But no longer available now In a rep unfortunately.
If I remember correctly....the rep was ss. So It would be quite a bit heavier than the titanium gen. If you like the looks of this Breitling I would seriously consider the new SW. Just take a look at the "Hungry Like The Wolf" thread for the details.

Well today Is your lucky day lk. I'm about to leave for my well deserved vacation In about two hours. Going to pick my car from It's oil change and be on my way. So hopefully your appetite will return before I do.
I'm so sorry to hear about this unfortunate situation Kev I do wish you and your family the very best. There have been many memebers...Including myself... that have had to put there hobby on hold because of lifes trails and tribulations. But hopfully one day when things return to some semblance of normalcy....well hopefuly then you will again be able to enjoy this hobby/community.
But Until then...my prayers and good wishes are with you Kev.

I received a very generous sample package from a very good friend yesterday. To you my good friend He suggested that I give the D'Orsay's Le Dandy a try first. Since I really like boozy smokey notes. It started out with a strong spice and boozy top and dried down to a very smooth smokey fruity base. It actually remined me of a much better made Spicebomb. I was at the neighborhood bar/grill last night. There's a cigar section In the bar...so the smokey boozy notes fit my surroundings quite nicely. I also got about 7-8 hours on my skin. Thats really good for me... my skin usually eats fragrances.....especially durring the warmer weather.
I knew nothing about this fragrance so I did some research. It looks like the original formula came out In 1923. I dont know If It's been reformulated....but If It has....It's been done very well Imo. If anyone does ask me what I'm wearing...I'll Just say. "Thats just dandy"

I understand how you feel. Try to keep In mind that Josh Is held up to a very high standard on this board. He sells hundreds If not thousands of watches a year. He's sending these watches all over the world. So mistakes are bound to happen from time to time. If he sent you the same picture Intentionally....shame on him. But as somone else stated...:It could have been a honest mistake.
I'm sure that Josh will make things right. Keep us posted on the outcome.

Remember the first pic was taken on a angle and that is going to change the preception of the lume dots. As I stated above....lume dots will never never be 100% perfect. They can be very good...but so far...not perfect. Gen below for comparision The silver rings are more prominent and the lume dots are perfectly centered.
That being said...the second watch looks very good. The lume dot above the 11 Is a bit sloppy...but no one Is going to notice It.

A very good point. Actually It wasn't long ago that you got what you got. At least now you have the opportunity to see what you are getting. If you dont want to consider another rep... then I think Josh should refund your money. It's not your fault that the Tag Is not exceptable.
That being said....there are some really nice reps out right now. Seawolf, Skyland....some awesome Pams. Just something to think about.
