  1. Now that I have been wearing it for well over an hour....yes I do get the dark smokey aura.. Nice.
  2. Memoir man Amouage today. I'm getting a herbal minty vibe up top. Green....but not to green Imo. I've had it on about a half hour or so and I'm picking up on some leather and tobacco. With a hint of vanilla maybe. Not a easy one for me to figure out. I wore this about a week ago and It didn't seem to last that long on my skin. But It was quite warm out that day so maybe the cooler weather will give me better results. If I do end up really liking this I most likely will stick to decants. At around $200.00 for a 50ml I don't see me making a full bottle purchase anytime soon. That said.....very nice fragrance. Mike
  3. Welcome to RWG. I'm sure you will fit right in....enjoy. Mike
  4. Tabarome(2000) Is my next Creed try. The Tabacco, Tea and Ginger sound like they will go so well together.
  5. Creeds Aventus today. If I ever purchase a full bottle of Creed.....Aventus will most likely be the one. The pineapple is absolutely subilme In this juice. I can't think of anything that smells quite like It. Very good projection and longevity. It smells expensive and made from the finest Ingredients. I'm not a huge Creed fan because of the price and average performance on my skin. But this one Is trully something special. I walked Into the kitchen this morning to get my cup of joe.. The very first thing my cousin....who happens to be very hot. said. "What the hell are you wearing? I must have It". I told her a little about the fragrance and a bit about the house of Creed. When I told her the price her smile fadded. . So I gave her a few sprays and wrote down some sites for samples/decants. Awesome fragrance....well done Creed. Mike
  6. Good to hear that you are happy with the watch as well as Silix's service. Enjoy. Mike
  7. I'm sure you're getting a lot of attention with that one. Well done Rick.
  8. Sounds very nice.....can't wait to give It a try. Mike
  9. I've had two older SA and they are very nice reps. The newer ones on the Improved Pro II bracelet and better split baton markers are even better. But the SA Is a very big and heavy watch. If you like that sort of thing....fine. But I would rather get the new Skyland. It's the same watch for the most part but a 45mm rather than a 48.4mm. It will be much more comfortable on the wrist and give you the same Avenger look. Mike
  10. I received a sample of Tom Fords Noir from a Basenotes member about three weeks ago. I gave It a try when I got It but haven't really had time to decide If I like It. I put some on about a hour ago. I'm getting a very strong Habit Rouge vibe from this one. It seems like the Patchouli vanilla/talcum powder and maybe some nutmeg and cinnamon are the notes most prominent to my nose. It's nice but I'm not a big fan of vanilla and baby powder. It's giving me that older gentlemen smell. A good fragrance but just not for me. .. I might have to give Noir de Noir a try. Sounds more Interesting than this one. Mike
  11. Indeed....the Watchmeister Is a true gentlemen. Nice Proplof btw....enjoy. Mike
  12. I really don't know enough about these to offer much of a opinion. The gens bezel numbers look more defined.. But overall It looks like a pretty nice rep. Gen Is on the wrist. Mike
  13. The Rolex heads beat the [censored] out of there watches to get that "vintage" look. Are you crazy? yes...but you are In some very good company. Personally?? I would keep it. If It still bothers you a few months down the road....then get another Rad. Beautiful Pam btw Mike
  14. Speaking of spanking the monkey...this video always brings a smile to my face. *** Adult Language*** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01J-fLSEwf4
  15. Well said R. I'm getting ready to order a OR strap from Josh. I have one for my SA and It is very nice. It may not be as good as the gen but It's very nice none the less. I would like to pick up a gen clasp one day for the OR. But the rep clasp will do for now. I guess I got lucky with my bracelets SEL. There are no gaps what so ever. May be my favorite part of the watch. The dial is also very good....as you mentioned earlier. But part of the fun In this hobby can be making a good rep even better. So I say It's all good In the end. Thanks again R..cheers. Mike
