  1. As far as reps go, pretty hard to fault.
  2. I believe It's the Pam Luminor Gmt 88.
  3. Although It's pretty close for me I would also go with the longines, I think It's the better looking of the two, good luck.
  4. No problem Gerald, I think you will be very happy with your purchase, keep me posted. Mike
  5. I feel the same way you do TK, congrats on the big 1000. Here's to the next 1000
  6. I wish I could get a better look at It. If you try to pull the hook or stud out of the hole you should be able to put It In the next hole. Try wiggling the rubber out of the hole that It's in, you might have to lift the the rubber out of the hole thats It's In. It's a very tight fit but you should be able to move the hook or metal thingy to another hole. Seems similar to the Panerai clasps. You will have to exsert some "force" on the rubber strap, good luck. any pics btw? (ps) maybe removing the screw In the clasp will make things easier, try the above first.
  7. No dafftness here The search function Is out of order, thanks for the heads up Mike
  8. It looks like a standard rubber strap to me. Just put one end of the strap Into the hole that fits best. I cant Imagine anything being any easier. I just purchased a Breitling SA, now that rubber(racer) strap Is a pain In the ass. The strap has to be cut, not a good design Imo. The Ebel will be self explanatory, beautiful watch btw Mike
  9. It's probably best to post your question here In the open forum. He will probably see It then, pm's are not the way to go Mike
  10. Welcome to RWG Mat That Hike Is one hell of a nice guy Mike
  11. Pics? I have only seen the leather and SS.
  12. At first I thought It might be some kind of medieval sex toy. Those medievalens were some crazy sons of bitzez I would actually like to see a pictorial of this tool and how exactly It Is used. Mike
  13. Thank you Francisco, absolutley brillant as always, I have learned so much from your generous contrubutions, again thank you sir Mike
  14. This Is my hope, that dealers at least take a good look at the watch before sending It out, do I ask to much? probably. But does spending 5-10 min or so with a watch really to much to ask? Set the watch 24 hrs before you ship It, to make sure It's at least keeping reasonably good time. Make sure there Is no visable flaws. I dont expect the watch be perfect but It would be nice to know that there was some "hands on" Involvment during the purchase process. I wont hold my breath on the above QC, not realistic. But If we could at least get some desent QC, well that would be fantastic. The payoff for the dealer would be many loyal and consistent customers. Things are getting better, have you seen what reps looked like ten years ago,? nuff said Mike

Maybe the best way to get a response Is to post a thread like this one. The OP has talent thats for sure, nice job. Mike
  16. It's a good idea to try to find someone In your area that will work on reps. Make sure that they have experence with 7750's. so many dont. There Is no one I can think of better than The Zigmeister but he Is a busy man, good luck Mike
  17. I have a few reps that do this while screwing the crown back Into the case. On The Zigmeisters advice I dont hand wind my autos and I have not had any problems thus far. I slowly swril the watch as If In a Brandy snifter. I have read that the less shock to the movement the better. Im sure The Zigmeister has mentioned this on several occasions. I also agree that a proper servicing Is the best remedy for a long and healthy relationship with your rep. Mike
  18. I have had to send two reps back. US registerd Is the perferd method of delivery. I think mine were between $10.00- 12.00 to send back, good luck Mike (ps) I dont get the big black mark on your wrist comment, something wrong with the strap?

+1 well said Andy and spot on
  20. All I can say is Im sorry to hear about your problems with Eurotimez. There have been several complaints similar to yours. I would contact the Admin or a mod here at RWG and tell them your problem. Im sure they will do all they can. I dont know If there's much they can do at this point and time, good luck Mike
  21. I dont think any conversation on super reps Is complete with out the Super Avenger. The black and blue dial are very accurate. The white(2009) dial batten marker Is also very good, not perfect but very very close. I know a lot of people stay away from this one because of It's Infamous size. Mike
