I have had the blue dial for about four months. I have eleven reps, two of them are Breitlings. I would say that the SA Is one of the best as far as quality go's . Everything just feels right. The crown has a nice smooth articulation to it, same thing with the pushers. Two things I dont like. I dont care for the AR coating on the outside of the crystal, scratches to easy. The bracelet Is not becoming of a rep of this quality. Im ording a gen croc strap. The bottom line Is that this Is a excellent replication, one of the best Imho. good luck Mike

This sounds to me like a "leason learned". or If you like "Caveat Emptor" If the seller said that the watch needed to be serviced then he was for the most part honest. If the seller knew that the watch would stop after being worn for a short period of time, he should have said just that, full disclosure. Although mentioning the service does cover a lot of ground. I have been a member here for almost a year and Im still somewhat apprehensive about buying watches on the second hand market. Sometimes It can work out really well, sometimes not so much. The one thing that I do feel was on the buyers side was a lack of experence and knowledge. I always try to find out as much as I can about said watch before making a decision to purchase. I had to learn the hard way. When I arrived here all I knew was that I wanted a Omega Po chrono. (orange bezel) I did no research and I asked no questions, I purchased the quartz version. I also got the 42mm, I would have much perferd the 45mm. I wont even wear the watch anymore. How can I? the movement Is a poster child for a fake watch. So I made a $145.00 mistake, It could have been much worse. I have sense purchased ten more reps, I dont regret a single one of them. If I were the buyer I would have It serviced, thats If the buyer really likes the watch, good luck. Mike (ps) I see that you were aware of issues and that you do have some knowledge and experence, my mistake.

Welcome to the best rep/gen site on the planet Marty I have a Gen Omega that my father gave me many years ago. I thought about possably selling It to fund a few rep projects. But the watch has termendous sentimental value and I could not part with the timepiece. Many members have sold/traded there gens to fund there reps. I would give It some serious thought before you sell your Omega. Having a Gen Omega Is something special. Maybe your not that fond of the watch and It's no big deal, and that does happen.(The Omega Seamaster Po chrono Is a watch I hope to purchase within the next year, It's my grail). But then again It could be that your really excited about the reps you have seen and might make a disision you could regret later down the road. Just a little food for thought. Reguardless of what you choose to do with your Omega, It's good to have you here. If you have any questions please dont hesitate. Mike

I was In Detroit about a year ago. I visted the one on Eight mile and Woodward, OMG. I really did not care about the burgers, I just wanted to get out of there alive. I lived In Brimingham and that Is still a very nice area. But I wont be going back to the orig eight mile location any time soon.

Welcome to RWG Stormfather. I also knew very little about Reps when I arrived here. I really didn't know that much about gens neither. All I can say Is "you have come to the right place" The Information here Is some the best and most useful that you will find anywere. RWG puts most If not all of the gens sites to shame as far as Im concerned. There are some good watch communites out there but they pale In comparson to the fine folks that you will find here. Im really not Into the Rolex brand so I wont be much help as far as Rolexes go. If I were you I would go to the Rolex area and you will find everything you need, thats a promise. If you have any questions just ask, good luck and happy hunting Mike

Welcome to RWG. I showed up here about eleven months ago. I was just going to buy a cheep quartz rep and be on my way. Well things did not quite work out that way. I now have a eleven reps and I have learned more about timepieces then I thought possible. The knowledge and expertise here are above reproach. I have a lot of relatives In the Clombus, Cincinnati, cleavend area. The one thing that I love about Cloumbus Is that you can not drive more then a mile or so without running Into a White castle. Im from Detroit and basically grew up on them. I even ate them little things for breakfast. LOL Im also In the Automobile Industry. I restord a 1971 Pontiac Trans Am about six years ago. It took about two years and I was lucky to make the few bucks that I did. I might take on another project later on down the road but It's alot of work and I just dont think Im as commited as when I was younger, a little wiser I hope. Again welcome and If you have any questions just ask. Mike
