  1. I really like the Michael Schumacher series, they do have the domed crystal. If you can get around the sub dial spacing then Im sure you will like this watch, It Is a beautiful watch on It's own merits Imho. Im getting ready to order the Po chrono from Josh(perfecy-hour) It has corrected the sub dial spacing as already stated. The Issues are the feet(Omega logo) are a bit off and the date wheel Is sunken and not beveled(shaken and not stirred) as It should be. It's also a pretty big watch at 45.5mm and around 17mm thick, nice and chunky the way I like them. Good luck with your search. Mike
  2. This Is the first time I have ever seen the word Quartz and servicing In the same sentence. I did not even know that a quartz could be serviced, just pop In a new battery Just kidding Im having my Tag Formula serviced as we speek, first time In nine years and the watch has never given me a problem, good luck with your Seamaster Mike
  3. Welcome to RWG My favorite type of Chinese food Is Shenzhen. I love spicy food and Shenizhen perpared chicken with vegetables and cashews Is something I could probably eat everyday There Is some of the best Information available right here at RWG. It really dosen't get much better IMO. Enjoy and welcome to the community Mike
  4. I agree with your WR statements. I dont go more then about ten feet under water In the pool. But I also think that a high WR rating says a lot about the overall construction of the timepiece. If a watch can Indeed go for example (200m) then It would have to be resonably well built. not as a rule but more times then not Imho. Mike
  5. +1 I have purchased two straps from Panatime and they have a good bang for the buck thing going on, very nice straps for the $$$

  11. I love my casios. I have two G shocks and I cant hurt them no matter what I do to them, tough watches
  12. I agree I would rather have one really nice rep than have three or four really bad reps. Is that better ?
  13. Welcome to RWG Bill. If you spend some time around here you wont have to ask "whats wrong with this picture" you will know. I give you credit for posting your questions. This way you wont have to make a $350.00 mistake. I think It's better to have one really nice watch that you can be proud to own. Better that then having three or four watches that will probably In up In a drawer, never to be seen again. So I hope you spend some time here and do plenty of research. The Information here at RWG Is the very best available, It really dosen't get any better. Trust me, you wont be disapointed, happy hollidays Mike
  14. Well If your not really around here enough to contribute funds you could bring some lunch. I will take a Bacon cheese burger and some chicken nugets, BBQ sauce on the side, thank you very much. That and a large Coke will do very nicely, thanks Mike

  18. $245.00? Please do tell I would order It today at that price Mike
  19. I was exactly where you are right now about a year ago. If you like the smooth look of the big second hand then you want a three hand automatic or a mecanical(hand wind) movement. With chronos come three small sub dials. It's of course more difficult to see the smooth sweep of the second hand because of the small size of the sub dials. I usally go with chronographs because I find them more attractive aesthetically. I tried to read as much as I could after I made a poor choice of my first(quartz) purchase. I spent about a month reading up on different movements and reps. I have made ten more rep purchases after that first purchase and I dont regret a one. The Information here Is second to none, read up and enjoy. Mike (ps) If you like the watch and would like to keep It for some time "have It serviced"
