  1. Merry Christmas to you and a happy and healthy New Year Mike
  2. Im sorry to hear about your qc problems. I think most of this Is due to DS. I have been lucky so far, out of eleven watches I only had to send one back, pam FB. The other issues I have had are one Breitling SA with a scratched outer AR. I also had scratches on my breitling Motors T bracelet clasp. So by and large I think I have been pretty lucky. I have to agree with PeteM, "It's a crap shoot". I wish you the best of luck In 2010 Mike
  3. Sounds like "fiction" to me Vern knowhatImean
  4. Looks good Andy I think this would keep my SA very good company. I love these big boys Mike
  5. Im glad that you like your PO, they are Indeed beautiful watches. I purchased my first rep(po chrono) from Andrew, no problems at all Mike
  6. I agree, Hamiltons are fantastic watches, big bang for the buck
  7. The same to you my friend 2010 the year of the super duper reps
  8. I have to admit, thats a good looking watch. It also looks to be a picture of the gen, so be careful and stick with the trusted dealers(collectors)here at RWG. (ps) If and when you see a rep watch with the time set at 10.10 It's probably a picture of the real watch. What you will end up getting (if anything) Is anyone's guess.
  9. I give you a lot of credit for trying such a project. One way to look at It Is you wont make those same mistakes again, fingers crossed. So dont be to hard on yourself, the review you did was nothing short of brilliant. Hang In there, this community Is a better place because of It Mike
  10. Thanks TT, thats some funny stuff right there Mike
  11. Go with the Omega Railmaster, you or the "old man" will not be disappointed, beautiful watch thats so gen like. good luck
  12. If you really want to stick with a small case watch you might want to take a look at the Omega Deville. They are around 38mm and under 10mm thick. Not really my cup of joe but you may like them, good luck Mike
  13. Merry Christmas Hike and a healthy and happy New Year. Merry Christmas to you to Tiger, hey Tiger, got wood?
  14. Omega Montbriliant Olympus I like this almost as much as my Breitling Seamaster Big Bang.
  15. About eight months ago I saw a Raymond Weil Nabucco In my Mens health Mag. It was love at first site. I started doing some research and found them to be around $3000.00. I really did not want to spend that kind of money on a watch at the time. I never thought I woiuld find a rep of this watch because RW Is not In the same "big boys" league as the usual suspects. About a month later I was looking around "timeshops.net and found the RW, I could not believe my eyes. It was also around $450.00 but hey thats better then $3000.00. So I waited a while and found It at Asian7750 for $279.00, It's now around $420.00. I purchased It on the spot. It Is my favorite rep and I cant get over how gen like this watch Is, trully amazing. I went to the mall near my house to try on the gen. The look and the feel are spot on, I find It difficult to tell the difference. I will buy the gen Omega Po one day due to the reps sunken DW and the feet are a bit off. I dont think this Issue(DW) will be fixed anytime soon so a gen Is In the works. Dont get me wrong, the Omega Po are fantastic replications and were fortunate to have this beautiful watch so well replicated. It's because of the rep that I want the gen. Mike
  16. Well there you go Shawn, you wont go wrong with eurotimez, a well respected dealer. How old Is your son? If he Is a big boy with a decent size wrist (around 7 In) he might like the 45.5mm better. It's more substantial on the wrist. If he Is smaller then the 42mm will be perfect Im sure, good luck and let us know how It go's Mike
  17. +1, Nice simple dial layout, a very clean design, a real beauty as Dluddys wristie provides witness to this beautiful timepiece, great choice Mike
  18. It made you laugh just a little? Come on now Vern
  19. Welcome to RWG Alexander. The best advice I could give you Is "take your time and do plenty of research". The Information here Is second to none. Spend some time In the Rolex area and you will be up and running In no time. Mike
  20. Great to have you here Kurt, or should I say "Spontaneous" With a name like that you will probably end up with a lot of watches. I hope It's not of the combustion variety My grail Is the Omega Po chrono with orange bezel. I hope to have the gen sometime In 2010. They have some very nice reps of the PO line. Take your time and ask any questions you might have, give me a holler anytime you like, welome to the madness Mike
  21. I did again last night, It's a addiction just like these watches Mike (ps) If you have any questions just ask
  22. Indeed I am my friend. I told the lady who took my order a few weeks ago to make my Chicken/veg extra hot. She asked me how hot do I like It, I said "on fire" She smiled and returned In about 20 min. I still cant sit down without thinking about that evil smile
