These are the best reps that I have ever seen. No SDW or Issues with sub dial spacing. I wish I would have known about these fantastic reps long ago. They even went to the trouble to set each and every watch to 10 10. On a serious note, I would love to see some Doxa's replicated. I just dont think the time has come quite yet, there Is always hope for 2010
This Is a grail for me. It's because of this watch that I found RWG. My very first purchase was the 42mm quartz version.I knew nothing about movements when I arrived here. I just orderd the new one with the correct sub dial spacing. Even with the off sub dial spacing this Is a very nice watch. Just remember that 99% of the people that see this watch wont know the difference. From two feet away In the real world this going to look like just another Omega PO. It's a beautiful watch, wear It In the best of health. Props to Lanikai for the generious contribution Mike
Welcome to RWG Chris It looks to me that you have found that special place you have been looking for, Im sure In time you will agree. If you have any questions just ask, again welcome Mike
When I saw Dems and the word crusty In the same sentence I thought that old undergarment mishap was being revisited. Im happy to report that Is Indeed not the case, go dems
When I saw my name was nominated I almost fell over I dont know how I ended up on this list but I do want to say "thanks" to those who voted for me. Just to be on the list Is a honor and I mean that sincerely. Here's to another great year for the best watch community on the planet, Happy New Year everyone Mike
I am from the US and I have used the trusted dealers(collectors) here at RWG. I have made eleven purchases and not so much as one problem. I think Josh@ Perfect-hour(perfect clones) and Andrew@ Trustyguy are a good place to start your search, good luck Mike
I usally get chronos, so I would also look at the Skyland Avenger V2. It's around 45mm and 18mm thick, a very chunky watch But since this Is your first rep the Super Ocean Is probably the better choice. Mike
Because of the huge price difference were not going to have exactly the same movement thats In a gen,for the most part anyway. Panerai for example has In-house movements. As long as that second hand sweeps we have Gen like(clones) movements In are reps. There are the Swiss 6497 hand wind, Valjoux 7753 for around $800.00. Then you have Swiss eta 2836(Rolex) and the Swiss 2824. The sooner you have these movements serviced the more "Gen like" there going to run. Mike
Welcome to RWG Peter 1-10 beers sounds like a good start I just orderd the orange bezel Po on 12/24. My very first rep was the PO quarts, now that they have the correct sub dial spacing I thought I would try the (mod) 7750 version. Fransisco does a very good review of this movement In the Fransisco section. Lanikai also does a nice review of this watch when It first came out, thats In the Omega area, again welcome and good luck with your new watch Mike
Im also a MB fan. I hope to purchase the(rose no) TW soon. Like already stated the SDW Is a very complicated fix. If you were to find someone to do It Im thinking It would not be cost effective. I have several watches with the SDW and I can honestly say that "they dont bother me at all anymore" I thought at first It was really going to bug me but after sometime It becomes a "non Issue" even more so with a black dial. I think the advice that Bjl gave you Is sound, relax and enjoy your beautiful new watch. Mike (ps) that MB sport Is also a very good looking piece
At least the beer Is cold, thats always a good thing No one gave you a watch,? that's just not right. I think I feel a lot like your dog, now only If I could lic? ...oh never mind, Merry Christmas Mike
Welcome to RWG JD. I see you and I already have something In common, PO's Congratz on your first rep, Im sure there will be many more, maybe a PO chrono Mike
