+1 Im sorry to hear about your DOA Omega SM. This Is always a possiblity. It seems like you have two choices. Send It back to your dealer or better yet have a watch shop (no AD) take a look at It. He or she will have to charge you something but I dont think that It would be much, good luck Mike

I could be wrong but I think all PO bracelets are the same. If they are then there may be more of a problem then you originally thought. The first bracelet I ever tried to resize was the PO. Not knowing what I was doing I tried to remove the links from the lugs(case) instead of the clasp, my bracelet was not fixable. Offshore tried to help me at the time. I had gone to two jewelers and they told me the same thing, the bracelet was runied. I hope this Is not the case with yours. But you said that you need a pin for the second link "before the band meets the case". So It sounds like this Is what may have happened.Did the links come apart In several sections? I just resized my new PO crono bracelet> I removed the links from the clasp and there were no problems at all. It might be a good Idea to send Offshore a pic of your bracelet just to be a 100% sure, good luck

The Railmasters are a very classy watch. I like the 49mm but if you like smaller watches the 39mm are also very nice. I just orderd the Omega PO chrono w/ orange bezel. It should be here In a few days. Good luck with your new PO. Let us know how you like It. Happy New year Mike

I picked up a UN Maxie 45mm a few months ago and for under $200.00 It Is exceptionally nice, power reserve to boot. If you take your time and check out some of the dealers rep straps you might find what your looking for.Although most leather rep straps are crap. There are some leather straps available that may not be gens but they are very nice and of excellent quality.Check out the strap section. The thing here Is to take your time and get to know your subject. Im glad to hear you have done business with OffShore, a classy gent to be sure When I arrived here I did not ask any questions and I did not take my time. I purchased the first Omega PO that I saw, It was cheep and thats all I cared about at the time. I purchased the quartz version and I dont like to wear It, wrong movement. But I did learn a valuable lesson, do your research!!!! Seems to me thats exactly what your doing. Spend some time In the Panerai, IWC, Rolex, UN, area.
