  1. I was just wondering what kind of dog that Is In your avatar. I love dogs. It looks to be part pit bull and part Hyena. Cool looking dog AmStaFF Mike
  2. Welcome to RWG, I did not see you hiding there. There are some members who perfer the cheeper movements, more dependable? I dont know, I guess It all depends on the watch. As you will find out this Is not a exact science. Although If It's a "real" Swiss movement then there Is no question. I still have a lot to learn myself. Good to have you here, happy hunting Mike
  3. Welcome to RWG. I would have to say that you have been given great advice from experenced members. Im my opinion the chances of you being called out on a rep Is about the same as winning the lotto, It happens but very unlikely. Now watch It happen to you on the first day you wear the watch, I purchased a Invicta I force about a month ago. I returned It because It was just a nice watch, thats all there was. When you open that package that you been waiting for from China, well It special. When you experence this you will know what I mean. Go ahead I dare ya, I double dare ya. Mike
  4. I cant say that Im from your neck of the woods, but welcome all the same. Great cheese btw Mike
  5. I had a hell of a time with my PO. Then again I did not have a pin remover tool. Without this tool I dont see this as being easy. At least It wasn't for me. Let us know how It go's Mike
  6. Welcome to RWG. When you get some time read Toads Noob Guide. There are many members who build there own watches, frankens. Take your time and do a lot of research, have fun Mike
  7. Welcome to RWG. Im a little confused by your statement. Members here use trusty(Andrew) all the time. If you go to the trade reviews you will see all of the great feedback. Andrew Is one the most trusted collecters here. I purchased my first rep from Trusty and all went smoothley. Good luck Mike

  9. Welcome to RWG Busher. I know what you mean about the quality of reps today. I purchased my first rep back In Jan. It was the Omega PO with the orange bezel. Although; It has a cheep quartz movement I like It very much, very accurate aesthetically. Good to have you with us,have fun Mike

  11. I went the cheeper rout to test the waters so to speak. I think you have made some fine choices. I will agree with Mikellem, get what you like. I know, easier said then done Mike
  12. I went the cheep rout and bought a Omega Po quartz. It was only $118.00. It was great first rep for me. I like the Pam. I will Probably get the yellow Grand Tourismo In a few months, fingers crossed. The Ferrari Is also one of the most accurate reps around Imho. I dont see you going wrong with any of these reps. Perfect Clones Is Indeed Josh. Good luck and keep us posted Mike
  13. I will agree with what the other members have already said. The truth Is that most people dont know jack sh#@ about watches.Rolex Is the only brand that might get a response. The most I ever hear Is "nice watch" Thats It and thats rare. I did read a article not long ago about women sizing up a man. One of the first things a women looks for Is a nice watch, shallow but true. Mike
