Good job billy. I need to do the same. It's the least I can do for a community that has helped me so much.
Thanks for the reminder.

I'm thinking something like this...

If you're really concerned about maintenance and reliability...stay away from mechanical watches in general (rep or gen)...and look at the quartz reps. Much simpler, cheaper and easy to maintain. They just aren't as accurate or "glamorous".
Not as accurate?
Toad what you smoken? Because I want some

Im glad your BR seems 2 b ok. I just received my first 7750 movement. I was told to be very gentle with the crown. I hate to change the time or date, In fear of damaging the stem. I guess It's better to be safe then sorry. Take some wrist shots when your bracelet is resized. Good luck

Welcome to RWG. I have a lot of family in the cleveland area. Ten Reps in about six weeks?, Dam. It might be a good idea to slow down a bit. In the short time that I have been here I have seen members burn themselves out. At first it does not seem possable, I know. I have to battle with myself all the time to keep from ording another watch. Maybe Im just jealous
Good to have here

Welcome to RWG. It's like being a kid in a candy store. Thats some expensive candy
At least you are aware thet this Rep biz can become costly. Try to take your time and do as much reading and research as you can. Toads Noob Guide is a great place to start. Have fun

I know how you feel. I just purchased my first 7750 movement. It's in a Pam 250. As of the past two weeks it is working as advertised. I know that I will have to have it serviced within the next several months. I know that many members have had excellent service from this movement. Then there are members who have not. I think that these movements are better now then they have ever been. I could be wrong. The big question for me and others is "who's going to service it". I am now looking for a watch repair person or watchsmith as it were. I hope to find someone close by soon. Having The Zigmeister do any work on my watches is not even a option any longer. One The Zigmeister and thousands of members, not good. Then again you can always try. Thats the way it is in this hobby, no guarantees. Good luck

Congratz on your watches. My first rep was the Omega Po Chrono quartz, orange bezel. The Omega has been a great first rep. Very depenable and keeps very good time, great choice. As far as the BR, well like toad Im not a big fan, but hey
The thing I do want to say is be very careful with your bracelet. I runined mine.
I remved the links from the lugs instead of the clasp.
If you feel comfortable doing it yourself, fine. If not, dont. I have talked to several members in the last month or so and they said they also had some diffuculty. The AD that I deal with is pretty friendly. When I went in to have my Pam bracelet sized I told him it was a gift. I said I doubt that my aunt would buy me a $7000.00 watch He smiled and said nothing else. I dont think most ADs realy mind doing small things, sizing, battery change, ect. It all depends on the AD and your approach. Some of these smaller mall watch repair shops are also good place to consider. Good luck with your new watches, wear them well

Welcome to RWG. Where in Florida are you from? I lived in Hollywood for several years. If you want to be Informed you came to the right place. The information here is stagering. Happy hunting

Thanks.
Yep the strap really is a nice one, and developing a nice patina. The crappy pics don't really show the colour in full glory.
If I remember it's the oxblood cordovan, though I may be mistaken as there are 2 cordovans very close in colour.
Beige thread.
Drew in Europeli was having a sale recently - maybe still is.
The leather is very nice and wearing well. Recommended......and when new smelt wonderful. Still has traces...
Thanks Scotty for the information. I will look and see if I can find something like yours at a decent price. Drew in Euoropeli

Nice Fiddy Scotty. Im waiting on a Pam Destro. Im looking to find a strap for it atm. I realy like the look of your watch with that strap. Im thinking something like that would be perfect. I was looking at some black deep grain straps at Strap culture. Now Im not so sure. Thanks for the pics
