  1. No. There was even documentation from various manufactures about semi-quick-stetting dates on non-quickset movements by rocking back and forth between 10 after midnight and 20 til midnight.

I think the turning backwards is part myth, or only applies to very specific movements.

If you go backwards, go back at least :20 then forward to the time you want.

I have done this on my serviced/COSC 1575 without issue.

  2. I wouldn't get to hung up on the dial feet. If the subdial spacing fits V72, then just cut them off and use dial dots.

Otherwise, we need more information. Dial diameter, measurement from center to subdial positions, etc.

The only other movement that springs to mind, (and the diameter/feet might tell) is this is for Lemania Handwind.

  3. There is SFA that anyone can do to you while in possession of counterfeit goods, or while purchasing. The seller is the person of interest.

Even if a GTG were infiltrated, there is no legal recourse that can be taken against the members as far as I'm aware. Not a lawyer, but aware of most civil liberties and rights :)

Agreed, much bigger fish to fry than a few watch enthusiasts getting together-- most likely with GENs and REPs present. Local Law Enforcement wouldn't touch this, could you imagine the PR nightmare when they confiscate a genuine Rolex or other brand at one of these.
