I am pro-iPhone, but this was great!
I wonder if she wants a Bad Ass Seiko Monster to go with the iPhone:

Ronin,
I am also waiting patiently for my kingston. unfortunately, I'm in the general ordering group, so mine is a ways off,I'm afraid. I go over to the MkII Forum almost daily, just to read all the posts by the crazies over there!! Absolutely incredible how the forum has disintigrated over the past few months. Everyone was civil and courteous, until it got to the actual shipping, and then the loonies came out in force.
I agree about the forum there and pretty much stay away. I too am general order. Have you figured out his crazy order/support system? It drives me crazy, there are days I feel like my order is lost between the couch cushions... Sigh....

GREAT INFO!
I had a gut feeling the crown was 6.00
Actually... I think I have a case lined up, and am working OUTWARDS from the case. Thus the dial/crystal questions....
So I can use a 16760 OR 16710 dial... Still looking for actual diameter of dial.... ??? The case I might be getting is an aftermarket 16600 minus the HEV...
Like to pre-plan and make sure dimensions are correct before dial/movement investment. It will be a total one off if I pull it off...

meh, nah.... (I am still patiently waiting on my Kingston from Bill...)
The crown on that thing is hideous, and the logo is way too big... Not for me...
-
Yep, I have seen those links above.
Still need the more technical info. Crystal PN:, Dial Diameter...
Thanks,
-
Cool. Thanks.
Where did you find the Crystal info. Is there a "Reference Guide" out there somewhere?
I thought the dial size may be more in line with a Sub or SD, but could be wrong. Probably in the 26.5 range??? 1675 are 27.3...
Do ALL GMTs use 5.3mm?
TIA.

I am having poor luck searching, so if anyone can assist with these questions, please do.
Crystal Part Number = ?
Dial Diameter = ?
Crown Size/Part = ?
Hand Stack = H/24/M/S Correct?
Springbars = Same as Submariner 2mm ??? Y/N?
Thanks in advance GMT Guru's....

I think at the end of the day, eBay likes to collect "their cut" of ANY sale.
At the end of the day, unless some LARGER number of people report, -or- and actual Omega or Industry watch-dog (no pun inteded) group step in, these slip thru the cracks, and eBay and PP take their CUT...

Just took this off, but after seeing your GMT, I think I will wear this again for Wed.

Who is this Guy InGod? I have a MBW on my 1665 but I just can't justify a Gen dial, even when my 1665 has a 1570 movement inside.

I would like to try KELLO, which is a app for regulating your watch's movement. I believe just using it with your iPhone's headset is not good enough, so it needs a better microphone plug. Might try it with that over the weekend.

I have it, and to-date I have only been able to use it successfully with loud ticking Pocket Watches!
To use it with modern watches you will really need to research and seek out an appropriate microphone. Problem is most of the phone microphones have some sort of noise cancelling which defeats it.

Did someone say ingod rail dial?

Nice job T.
I have a 1/4 of my back done, and am going for a full back piece. Then possibly half sleeves. (Job/Career dictate hide-ability, at least for now).
As far as Girls and Tats. I used to DJ in the Goth/Industrial scene for many years, and have come to enjoy a quality ink'd "Alternative" girl.
IMHO, girls should go all or nothing. The solitary rose, or other seemingly random $hit, just don't do it for me personally. YMMV.
