Congrats on the upgrade... Best dial you can by. So gen-like it's crazy! I have had a look around and found alot of Gen pic's with non-matching hands and indices. The hands seem to be more white while the dail markers and numbers are more cream. Take a look even at FGD's builds as well as most others you will see a variation. That is unless you have them both relumed. Here is a v1 dial and DSN hands both relumed by The Zigmeister. FGD/Zigmeister, are you kiddin me? Oh ya!
Hey bud... I would suggest not going cheap! You won't save that much. DSN's 127 and 201a are very nice and you are on the right track there. For the 111 you might wan't to try Sead's new offerings (Sead1999). New CG and great lume using a DSN dial... Killer combo! I wish I would have known what you already found out so far when I started, I could have saved a bunch of money. Of course this is just my opinion. But it is based on alot of time spent scouring these Forum's. You won't regret any of the models you have stated, as they are all nice. GL bud!
Very cool bro... I love the Ti/brass contrast! Did the movement drop right in? Pardon my ignorance... I have a similar type dial with the weathered brass look.
WOW! Very nice... And as you said, well worth the wait. I have had many Vac builds. I love and have loved them all. Great pic's for rushed ones! Wear it well and thanks for sharing!
P,
What a marvelous watch man! Such a classically elegant look to it. Yet right at home with a pair of jeans. I screams, I wanna be formal... But I'm here to party too...
Mickey P was right... That CG looks VERY nice! I had to do a double take. I was lucky with my PVD as well. Many times the lever is less than flush. That is a SUPER looking watch, and she even knows how to swim already. Thanks for sharing... (+1 on the PVD T-48)
It is FLAWLESS! I always loved his MI1 and MI2 projects. But to see it in action with a gorgeous watch is a real treat... It is pricey at first glance, but when you consider the research, time, talent and attention to detail it is a BARGAIN. You would have to have a time machine to get a nicer example! Thanks so much for making my day!
