  1. You should also note that the Reps on the Watcheden site often lack the quality that the other dealers on here have, so I would recommend checking out the Trader Section. Examples of Quartz Models http://www.watcheden.com/tag-heuer-carrera...-25212-p-1.html http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_pag...products_id=901 http://www.jpc8118.com/tgca10103-carrera-2...ono-p-5624.html
  2. On the 21j version, you will not get the working chronograph. The only working chronograph which is automatic is the 28,800 version. That version also has the display case back (Can see the movement at the back, as per original). If you just want a working watch with a chronograph, get the cheap Quartz version, it will keep great timing, and cost you less than the 7750 Model. For more information just look in the Tag Heuer section for stickied threads, they have great reviews. Link Here to TH Section
  3. Some better photos, I think there will definitely be demand for a white SMP if they decide to release a plain version, especially with light blue bezel and the wave pattern.
  4. Thickness it measures up as 14mm from top to bottom, if you include the glass then 16mm. Width including crown is 45mm, dial size is 34mm, including bezel 40mm. As for wristies, just took these now for you. If you want to get one, PT is your man P.S. I know I have small wrists
  5. That's a really good interesting write up! Thanks for contributing.
  6. I have a strong sense that this forum is prone to bias towards mechanical movements. Quartz movements are exceptionally good at keeping time, but I suppose so would the gen Auto, especially from Omega. I'd personally go for the one that makes you think yes, I made the right choice. With watches it's pretty much the same as with everything else, listen to your heart and not your brain. If your heart says the auto is for you then get it.
  7. This is something that I most definitely have noticed personally, I really enjoyed reading Robbie's insights and had the privilege of sending a few messages back and forth with him. I do hope he returns back to the board shortly to give us greater insight. It's the community that makes this site what it is and Robbie is most definitely one of the treasured parts of it.
  8. Small bump for this thread so it can be included in By-Tor's section and maybe for comparisson with newer model.
  9. Compared to this photo from Rolexman's review, The DW is extremely different and is not the same font at all. Definite improvement. With regards to the lume dots, they are not yellowish, I think it's just the hume of the photo. The Chrono pushers, as here in Rolexman's are round The ones on the newer model, are just as the gen, The case back is also different, with Rolexman's being oblong shaped whereas mine is more defined as in previous pictures The newer model is definitely an improvement, and I would recommend it without a doubt.
  10. As if that's on 150 quid!
  11. Mine is the one from the link on By-Tor's guide, and it's the brushed bezel. I've ordered it not long ago from PT, great service cannot fault him personally. The watch does not have AR on the gen, so I decided not to change that either. The only fault I can find with the rep is the incorrect date font, it's really a small difference, but when you know it, it does bug you. Although about 99.99% of people would not tell the difference. The bracelet is great, time keeping is better than my laptop! (Which needs to be updated every now and then). Some photos, Overall, I'm glad I went for this version. The newer model to get it upto scratch you need to get it AR'd, then it will always not have the display case-back which the gen has. I am also not a big fan of tachymeter on the bezel, feel that it overcomplicates the watch a bit, but then some people LOVE that, look at the Breitlings as an example. But then it's down to you! Good luck and I am sure you will make the right choice.
  12. Wow, I can see there being difficulties in imitating the see through back
  13. It's very infectious at the beginning, you should just make sure you don't rush into it and take your time to decide on what is worthwhile and what isn't

    Holy...

In the words of Mr Clarkson.. another Audi driver there! Looks great, ditto for another photo of caseback please.
  15. Worth a 99p bid though! Edit: It's missing a 007 on the second hand if my eyes aren't deceiving me too.

    Test

    Test.. tube... experiment.. Oh No!
  17. It's definitely different, but strange on how they decided to have the date at such a weird place.
  18. I am really confused, Any ideas?
  19. Oh this is a brilliant idea, definitely something that I would have loved to have had when I started off a few months back, this would have saved me a lot of money. What happens if you have too many people crowding on one noob, i.e. if it's a really fit woman?
  20. The long awaited primary form of contact is much anticipated! I wonder how does The Zigmeister "find" you
