Ooh, now that's nice, and I don't usually like daytonas!
-
This thing's back up again? I remember seeing it listed on the Bay a few months ago...
Yeah, I'm sure that sold for some silly price??
-
I got this through from Mary and am pleased to say that it was an excellent buying experience - hassle free and pretty quick! I bought it for the other half for her birthday and she is very happy with it, so mission accomplished
lol
It came extremely well packaged:
and the watch itself is great
Seamastei LOL
Caseback is wrong as it should be Seamaster, but it's not on display so shouldn't be a problem.
The blue Omega logo and writing on the dial is accurate to gen, I believe, but I'm not sure if the OMEGA should be joined up or not.
How big is it? Everyone knows how big a 44mm PAM lol is so I figured this was a good comparison shot
Wristie entirely focused on the watch
lol
Normal rep lume
Long exposure lume
There are some flaws - wrong caseback, misspelled clasp engravings (they're all like that apparently), dial markers are about half a degree out (but not visible unless you're really looking for them), and I'm not sure if the bevelled crystal is accurate to gen, but it was a great price and the service was great so I'm very happy indeed
-
Uh, no, they aren't. The new pictues just posted are of his rep, not a gen. You might want to take another look ...
LoL
Is this testament to how good it is?
-
Or do I mean Offshore?
I get confused
lol

I think TrailBoss is doing some work?

Just got a few custom pieces from Tat - a phantom cali dial in 47mm Rad case and phantom 45mm in PVD Rad case.
The 45mm Rad was DOA and was sent back to Tat who promised to repair or replace it.
The finish of both watches is pretty good for the price and the strap is quite nice also. All in all, pretty happy with the quality of these watches. These cannot be compared to DSN pieces but you get what you pay for.
If only there was an option for a sapphire crystal...
This post is useless without pics

Lovely project, congrats
If I had any money I'd be going down the same route as nothing I've seen comes close to how good these look!
-
That looks good
but it looks like a long wait for the SD
lol
-
+1 on that

Sorry to hear about your family situation
Things like that are hard at the time but don't forget that you'll look back on them and feel stronger for getting through them

IWC Portuguese 1939 today, but strap changed since this pic (my first ever watch mod!
) to a half-polished stingray one.
-
IWC Portuguese 1939?

Dammit, I'd love to see all this but I don't particularly want to get eyeball scanned and fingerprinted for the pleasure of flying in to do so...
I'm decidedly jealous! Great pics too, what camera equipment are you using?
-
Will be interesting to see the outcome of this!

bugger... Feel free to remove this thread then

This came up on one of my searches on the 'bay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250502842689&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123
I like it, it's different
It's also rather expensive...
lol
Just thought I'd post it up, really, for interest and in case anyone is feeling rich!!
Doubt it will ever get repped!

Lovely choice
One of these is on my list, hopefully as a self build franken.
I'm gutted though - I missed out on a silver linen dial on ebay for about
-
Bell & Ross Phantom and Commando models.
They also do a phantom true Tourbillon model for about

I believe that it is possible to set up a standing order on the account, paying money into another account - Jeremy Clarkson had this done to him when he wrote his details in his newspaper column. Someone set up a Direct Debit or Standing Order for

Ok, just to report back, I received the hex screws, bars and correct tool for my homage B&Rs yesterday - but sadly they are much larger than the ones in my rep B&R so I don't think they're going to be any good unless you're willing to enlarge the lug holes
-
Thanks for another great guide
-
B&R BR01 01-92 homage today - arrived this week, I love it

re: the Lume, I believe Getat is developing dials and hands with the V10 lume as he's been listening to the RWG1.1 boys about what they want. If he can sort it out, they'll easily be worth the extra money over the jackson stuff! Although both are great for the money
How To..............!
