Cheers for the pics
That is pretty [censored] bonkers lol
Hate to think how much it's worth now!

So is there a gen of this?!
*noob alert* lol
Looks good, although I think the crystal distortion day to day would drive me nuts! Although I appreciate the reasons for the shape

This is a great thread for links to unbranded stuff, thank you
I'm keen on unbranded stuff too - those not in the know won't bother you about "is that real?" questions on watches that would otherwise have recognisable brand names, whereas those into watches will recognise the design and may be interested in finding out more, or may be puzzled as to whether it is real and you've had it customised, or something else!

Bringing this thread back to life.
Just ordered a 46mm Pilot watch with the new grey dial and a PVD movement, asked for their new handmade charcoal strap as well.
Lets see how GETAT reacts and how communication will be.
Theo
Good stuff! The grey dials are quite new I think
Pics when it arrives!

I assume if it's a 2813 you could swap in a high cannon pin 4813?
-
Ignore that 'swiss made replica' [censored], it's the same sort of marketing spiel as "A++++++ quality" and all that crap lol
-
Aren't the gen brevet 8mm crowns something like $800?
-
Sorry to bump an old thread, but is this the watch in the link in the first post?
Looks similar to me!

This problem was posted the other day as well lol Seems to be ongoing!
You can get round it by selecting "CleanCut" from the box on the very bottom left of the forum screen, but it's not ideal as I prefer the other Skin!

@ Member X,
I checked out Narikaas section but it looks like he doesnt have the Milgauss that I want but he does have the classic one at a very good price.
Looking under the review section he has got one negative one which makes me a bit cautious. I want to know what I order is what I get.
Looks like he is based in the UK or am I mistaken?
WatchInternational looks very promising, indeed the reviews so far are glowing reviews.
Has anyone bought a Milgauss from WatchInternational?
Also does WatchInternational accept paypal?
I'm not sure why narikaa has a negative feedback? but it's likely to be a one off, possibly from a n00b (I'm guessing, but n00bs are usually the trouble
lol) He's been on here for ages and has a wide customer base - he's also pretty friendly by email so don't be scared to give him a go
As far as I know he doesn't hold that much stock but can very probably get hold of a piece if you want it. He is UK based, yes, and also sends pics for you to check, I think? (I'm not sure on this, hopefully others will confirm. Or you can ask him!)
WatchInternational goes out and sources each piece individually, as I understand it. You specify what you're looking for, if it's a particular version or model with any distinctive things that mark it out from the other versions, and she will go to the markets and get it for you, providing pictures for you to check and say yes to before she sends it. As far as I know she only accepts Western Union at the moment so you have to allow a little extra on top for that, but she's great at communicating, friendly, willing to help if something's not quite right, and well known to at least one member who's met her in person. I've used her once and will be using her again!

I saw a thread at RG that gave a simple way to age the dials. Basically hang the dial upside down (face down) and blow cigar smoke up onto it....showed pics and all...looked great (I will try and find the thread).
Cool, thank you very much

I believe Narikaa is also able to ship from the UK to avoid customs hassles.
I have ordered a couple now from overseas and had no problems - the majority of dealers will re-ship if it gets lost in the post or seized by customs so you should be fine ordering from an overseas dealer.
WatchInternational get my vote for excellent customer service!

I like the look of these but I'm always worried that the dial markings look too new.
Is there an easy way to age them that won't require super-technical skills? lol
Or some way to buy an aged dial version out of the box?
-
That looks substantial! Is it really shockproof and antimagnetic? Good stuff if it is
Smooth sweeping movement or older style slow beat?
-
Love it!
Did you go for the superlume option? For $6 more it really is a no-brainer
I think the brushed case looks fine by the way - looks like the titanium finish!

Daaaaamn...
If I had the money...

lol!
I think I may have to become your friend - several times a day I'm wondering about some weird grammar question so you may be getting some PMs off me at some point
-
Thanks for the advice all
I have to lol a little bit though - all this vintagising PAMs and rep rolexes yet when a genuinely battered and worn piece comes up, it's not liked that much
LoL
-
Really?
Tell me more...
(by PM if you want! lol)

This guy has a good idea
lol

I have an idea to combat super fakes...
Sell real ones at the price of super fakes.

Hey all,
Apologies for the slightly n00b posting but I'm really not up on my rolexes yet, and with there being about a billion different models and variations
it's going to be a while yet... lol
Anyway, what do we think of this?

A while to go and some interest in it but difficult to tell if it's a) gen, and b ) going to go for ££££...
Thanks for any help you can give me!

Sweet, CleanCut solves the issue, even if it means getting used to a new layout again lol
I might even try the LoFi option at work as it looks less 'non-work'!
