  1. Just some rolex auctions from ebay...of course I am not affiliated with the sellers, just wanted you to show some interesting items...the first one is very rare nonetheless. If you find some item interesting you may try to bid... Seller claims its genuine, yatchmaster case: http://cgi.ebay.com/ROLEX-YACHTMASTER-CASE...1QQcmdZViewItem a complete daytona kit with valjoux: http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Vintage-Daytona-...1QQcmdZViewItem rolex sea-dweller bracelet: http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Sea-Dweller-Stai...1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. what about mbw 1680 cases? Will they fit a 1570/1575 movement with little modification?
  3. hey yo offshore! I will buy the stocks in behalf of you and then we will split the profits! I then can send you the money wraped inside some magazines...this way money becomes untraceable. yo I am your man!
  4. Jeff...let me guess..you too are behind the AP with secs at 12 right? I would like to know if the new rep with secs at 12 will have the crown and the pushers aligned the same way as the version with 2892 dubois depraz module..I guess the rep will be eta 7750 based so no luck either....am I right? Also...will the new AP case be the same way as the gen? I mean the sandwich case, not just one piece. Angus is a great guy. I have talked to him sometimes but never bought from him. I think the best watches have come from him.
  5. thanks nice pictorial... Been triying to source a gen tudor dial but no luck. I guess the gold old days are gone.
  6. Cool...
  7. very nice ubi... I was about to contact The Zigmeister for a "job" but he is out till july, he says.
  8. I am caught! Yes...this would be my car! Who cares bout the gasoline? In Baselworld there were a lot of beemers in the parking.
  9. where did you get the case? Is it a standar mbw case? I heard that you need to mod the case in order to fit the 1570. Very nice watch btw.
  10. Mine has almost 2 days of power reserve. It is amazing...the day I will service the watch I will buy a new eta movement. It is the best patek you can get. This is the gen version. The rep is a real clone!
  11. Is there another remedie for the hands? I remember the last daytona of riverwindmds...he putted a beautiful white dial but it got a little ruined because of hands friction. After hearing this comment I know I cant rely on my watchmaster since he may have no clue about this...and he is very bad when it comes to hunt pieces.

    Gone

the good old boys! I remember them too.
  13. Sorry about your friend Beta...I too have lost an animal friend...I dont have a pic of him now but of my others. Introducing my female dog Alba, she has a lot of hair and loves food. She will bark for food. She is an Alaskan Malamute. my brother Peluche, a Norwegian Forest cat. He is young male cat...a ketterchen like germans say. He likes food and sleeping. This is the father of Peluche, although he doesnt take care of him, we always welcome him. Welcome to the Four Seasons Senor!
  14. This is the stand of tag heuer. There is a race car..everybody is very excited with tag heuer. I think this picture is from Chanel..cool. It seems to be a party club! Breguet...How wouldnt I havent took any picof the breguet watches? Damn it! Chopard...out of my sphere of interest. Ulysse Nardin. Beautiful watches...Most of them carry the eta 2892-2 Some examples: That day, after the show we went back to Zurich and admired the city: It is really a very beautiful city: But the swiss is very rare people: I spotted the shop atelier of Maurice de Mauriac..It was too there in Baselworld: Lovely shop. These eta 7750 chronos retail for about 1700 eur..you can see the case is a little oversized. Maybe it is a bit too expensive considering it has a 7750 inside..You can buy a nomos tangente automatic with movement in house manufacturing for the same price and it will blow your mind.. The following pictures are from the main street of zurich...Zurich 5th avenue What a combo! Some APs: Yeah finally some Breguets! ..... Guess where the swiss put their money at? UBS and credit swiss...its a plague over there..haha. Thanks for looking, Now it is 1:49 am...I am definetly quitting.. I will edit this post tomorrow and add more things... Best Regards and good night. Manuel
  15. Ok so this is my thread containing the pictures of Baselword 2008. I went to Zurich with a friend of mine who lives by repairing watches and we both got amazed.. Switzerland is a very beautiful contry. Zurich is a nice city and so is Basel. I will post more pictures of my trip to switzerland but now I am going to bed. It is 1:05 am. Sorry for the bad spelling and the blurry pics..I will try to correct it asap.. Hope you like it! Our arrival at the train station of Basel City. From there we took the tram way and went to the baselword buildings. The city was pretty cool..I only saw the city of basel from the window of the tramway. what a pity, anyway I took some pics. This was our first stop. This section was mainly for the pros and watch industry operators. We decided to take a look. the Hall of innovations was ok. Sorry I wouldnt resist..a fiat 500 covered with white carpet.. I dont remember what that company manufactured but I think the stand was very original. We went downstairs and discover this machine in action. Actually this is a cnc machine..We were told that only 17 machines like this were in switzerland..so maybe they deliver most of the machines to Asia...sorry for the blurry pic. FYI, the machine costs around 400K eur. I think it would be a good idea to buy one for rwg so we can have every watch we want repped... And here its the final result, nice uh? This is an other machine from the same vendor. You can see the machine drilling the movement plate with milimetric precision. Some liquid is shoot at high speed to cool the drill i guess. After that we went to the other building where watch brand exibitors were performing. The entrance to the building was pretty cool..water falling you know.. Inside the entrance hall..I took a fast picture. It seemed to me that taking pictures was forbidden so I timidly gave a shoot.. And now into the watches..the first stand that I couldnt resist to see was the Patek. I took some pics but I didnt want to get noticed until I saw some japanese armed with their cameras shooting everywere..they even carried a tripod. After that I took pictures without caring to much. The Aquanaut... The Nautilus...The new nautilus are really very impressive. The new chronos are very cool. This one called my atention...I think jfreeman would be delighted with these ones, specially the all bling one. The mbk nautilus can fool any patek owner: Patek Philippe...a master of his own. And now into the rolex...the rolex stand was very cool..next to the rolex stand was the tudor stand but we didnt bothered to try to enter..2 girls dressed in cream whites were standing at both sides of a big green door. Both were dressing the new mens two tone rolex datejust rolesor. These are the new day-date president...bigger size, about 41 mm. These are some funny datejust: More rolex...I think I have made too much pictures of rolex watches. Some exotic datejust: At least the daytonas remain untouched..we all have heard that the new daytona will feature a power reserve but we cant certainly say so...I am sure however that the new daytonas will feature fat crownguards. More daytonas, the two-tonas.. The new fat crown guards submariner...I dont know why they have released this new sub when they have alredy made changes in the 16610..remember the 16610 with engraved rehaut "rolex rolex rolex" but no fat crownguards and no ceramic bezel? Then go grab that sub because it will become a rare transitional submariner. The first sub from the right is what we would call a transitional submariner. Go grab it! and never wear it..since it is known that the less worn the watch is the more it will be worth..just kidding. Very rare blue sub..sorry for the poor quality pics...This remembered me a blue sub rolex did some time ago. It was mainly destinated for the japanese market. Off with the rolex and in with some other brands. This is for instance a new limited edition hublot. It has a tourbillon. The breitling stand was also very impressive...I dont like breitling but I thought it would deserve a little room in my camera. Who ordered sushi? Breitling claims it delivers the best pilots watch.. Actually most pilots wear a cheap casio or a black red gmt master. This was the stand of Chronoswiss. Very famous for the enamel dials. Dials are made of silver..This brand is a bit new if compared with classics like omega and rolex but it rocks.. Regulateur a tourbillon squelette. Engraved by hand. Hand-wound movement, 2 barrels, flying cage and 72 hour of power r. 3 ATM. The Art of Enameling (for which ChronoSwiss is most famous imo) Porche Design. I think this watch has been repped right? for you. Again sorry for the blurry pics. I was delighted with Maurice Lacroix and its complications. One day I have to buy one of these. You can buy the rep..but it is different from the real deal. I think it has been released 2 days ago. replica uses a lemania copy movement I think. The Blancpain stand..Yes it was the fifty fathoms..both versions, the new and the vintage one. I like the vintage version more than the new. THe vintage had a steel bracelet taht seemed too fragile however. Upside there was more watches to see! This watch really scared me! It was like an old ship navigating. or at least that was its moving remembered me...This watch was huge and it sure helped a man to obtain the perdon of God when the watch got finished. Yes this is the eta house. You can actually take course lessons in the eta school. A view from the top. This building was a lot big. This was a watch I liked a lot..Actually is a eta 7750 skeleton from a mistery unknown watch house. Price was 7000 eur for the ss version and 16000 eur for the white gold one. No way I am buying this. I think tourby might have these movements for sale maybe.
  16. as far as i know you dont need any movement holder to fit it to the case... Plus you are using the "perfect" case... About the hands, I dont think either you have to perform any modification. Never heard such thing before. Hands are flying to you btw.
  17. i have a set of luminova hands with dial. email me for details.
