  1. Indeed unscrupulous people selling franken as genuines. Oh yes we all know. *Chevall your intentions seems to be too obvious. And I quote myself: You claimed to sell replicas and you are deamanding new providers. But you dont have the slightest idea of the product you are demanding..These watches (if someone is kindly enough to build a franken watch for you) would be very dangerous in the wrong hands. Also the price would be a lot for your customers. What kind of wathes do you sell? Also I did noy mention italians are not good for anything...I am just pointing a fact..The fact is..well..see yourself! As I stated before I know many good italians. You and I live in south Europe (I live in Spain). Dont call me "she" because you know I am a boy. My name "Manuel" says it all. People who know me knows its my real name. Capicci? Again theres the proof you dont have manners. *Rosnik, I was talking about franken rolex, not the so called italian replicas. And yes you are right, its an urban legend. Lets take care of the bad guys out there.
  2. *I think Italians are not good for replica and watch community. They sell average replicas with high overprice. Italians are responsible for driving up watch parts. (prices are skyrocketing everyday) Let me picture this I putted a gen gold daytona bezel in ebay (250 or best offer). An italian ebayer came to me and offered me 50 eur for my bezel. Taking a look at his items for sale I saw he was selling the very same for 600 eur. What he was smoking? Aint the first time that this has happened to me. Also most of watch frauds to collectors are done by italians. Yes I am talking about the franken rolex daytona. You (chevall) seems to be rude because you write in capital letters. It is obvious you dont have any intention to learn nor you dont put any effort in learning nor contributing here..You just come here and demand rare replicas for later reselling them. Of course there are a lot of good italians out there...I know some italian members in these boards and they are very serious people but I can say that the most outrageous behaviour in the watch/replica scene belong to Italians. Sorry for this post (and sorry to good italians) but I just wanted to point out something I have been watching for so long... Of course there are bad spanish collectors too (but in Spain there are very few watch aficionados in comparision with Italians). PS: do you remember bytheway, from which place was the guy that pulled out all the stock of AP EOD? According to neil it was a dude from Italy. 100 pieces none the less.
  3. hey diceman, didnt know about this thread till now. and yes it is 726R Better to use a eterna than a enicar sherpa. The sherpa is much appreciated by spanish watch collectors.
  4. Nice dial. Search this forum (I cant remember the thread) and read about a crown transplant. The result was much better but it is a expensive mod none the less since you have to get a gen rolex dial and get the crown off...
  5. Yeah but does the mbw case fit the movement without modification? Thanks and wear it well.
  6. Thanks for the review. Funny that the rep fooled the captain.
  7. Does the 1570 movement fit in it without modification? What about a 1570 into a mbw 1680 case?
  8. care to show some pics? thanks
  9. I own a 726 watch. Mine is non gmt. It is a beautiful movement. I have seen some non rolex watches with val727, prior to this I thought only daytonas carried this movement.
  10. my heart beats strong!
  11. do you think that josh case along with a dw caseback ould fit a valjoux 72 movement? I am a bit ignorant sorry.
  12. freddy, The link you provided doesnt work...sorry and thanks!
  13. Thanks freedy, I alredy have the valjoux 726, will later get a dw case. but wouldnt mind to buy this superb replica also. so is the silver dial daytona the one Josh is selling? sorry for not re-reading the whole post again, but does this watch have mods? If yes, which ones?
  14. Freddy, you got me thinking you are collecting opinions for some reason. Are you going to bring us a decent daytona rep? Can you compare your asian daytona with your dw 72 daytona? I am curious to see the resemblances.
  15. lot of brown dials! This guy is collecting rare watches nonetheless. Red sub must mean something important to him also.
  16. if PT realises he will ask himself why not selling the bezels at a higher price..when his buyer is going to resell bezel for profit. bad bad bad....
  17. And this is my valjoux 726. I have a donor watch but I have to get myself a dw case kit. How good are the last generation of DW 72 case kits? I like the daytona with exotic white dial.
  18. poopypants, what happened to your old avatar?
  19. Freddy, I have followed your projects long time ago since rwg exists. I always have wanted to talk with you, but I first have to get DW case kit. Heard that he may send you any kit, and it turns to be a roulette because you will never know what kit is going to arrive. The valjoux 726 runs at 21600 bph because the machine used by my watchmaster says that. This is my valjoux 726 watch. Pictures of movement will be published someday maybe.
  20. very nice! I have a valjoux 726 watch for a project like this. (21600 bph) I like the white exotic dial daytona. Will I encounter difficulties fiting the movement?
  21. I have a watch with late valjoux 726 movement. Hope to buy case kit from DW soon. Also I have stems. Do I need to buy parts for this movement? Do I have to care about avalability of parts?
  22. does the 168000 sub have the same case as the 1680 but with shapire crystal? Always curious about this.
  23. very nice pictures! I wonder how accurate is the crown position. I have alredy bought a gen rolex sticker for it. Does anybody know if the caseback has engraved the number 16600?
  24. ok, I dont want to hijack the submariner thread asking you further questions about the gmt. waiting for your review.
  25. Sorry to hear that Laz, 25 yrs is too little, a lot of things yet to accomplish in life. My deepest condolences. Manuel
