Well... I wouldn't say these are crap window glass, but they are surely not sapphire... I believe that finepics tried to coat one and it exploded! On the subdial hands thing... I actually prefer the silver hands, but installed black ones to emulate the original. That being done, I can hardly see the subdial hands now Bad design choice on Panerai's part IMO

The genuine is domed, as is my rep. The genuine also has a bent second hand. There is no distortion on my dial when looking at the watch from a low angle. I am almost tempted to keep this after looking at it for a while, starting to feel the love
