Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes. You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television. Oak trees do not produce acorns until they are fifty (50) years of age or older. Venus is the only planet that rotates clockwise. (Since Venus is normally associated with women, what does this tell you!) Apples, not caffeine, are more efficient at waking you up in the morning. Most dust particles in your house are made from DEAD SKIN! The first owner of the Marlboro Company died of lung cancer. So did the first "Marlboro Man." Walt Disney was afraid OF MICE! 3. Three dogs were sitting in the waiting room at the vet's. One of the dogs was hanging it's head and sighing. The second dog turned to him and asked :"What are you in here for, Buddy?" The dog looked depressed, "I'm in big trouble", he said, "My owner has a really nice sports car with leather seats. I just love to go for rides in it. Well, the other day, he took me for a ride and I was so excited, I peed on the nice leather seat. Now he's having me put to sleep." "I know how you feel, said the second dog. "My owners have a beautiful, expensive oriental rug. The other day they were late getting home from work and I just couldn't help myself...I [censored] all over their nice carpet and ruined it. They're having me put to sleep too." Both dogs turned to the third dog in the waiting room. "So what are you here for they asked?" "Well," said thre third dog,"my owner likes to do her housework in the nude. The other day, she was vacuuming and she knelt down to vacuum under the sofa, and I just couldn't help myself. I hopped on her back and had the ride of my life!" The other dogs nodded in sympathy, "So, she's having you put to sleep, too, huh?" "No," said the dog, "I'm having my nails clipped!"
  4. It has definitely gone all stupid... all of a sudden with the 127 and 217. Lucky boys who bought them for 9-11k a year ago!! Yeah... I just paid EU130 for a Dirk... but I just had to have it :|
  5. Very nice... Please tell us where this came from... It doesn't look like a DSN, as his PVD is more matte... this is smoother and closer finish to the real deal :-) Great on that strap too!! Wear it well
  6. Where in BKK did you get this watch?? There are a gazillion watch shops but AFAIK only one sells the MBWs (aka MBKs)... If you didn't get it there, you most likely didn't get the one you're looking for.
  7. Black 'n' Blue (amazing strap by the amazing HKTan!!!):
  8. Yeah... it's coming from Singapore so it shouldn't be too long
  9. Yes... I agree the lume is too bright... standard rep lume may also be too bright... But this is a great job! Anybody have any comments on the font or logo? Is it great? Methinks my wallet will again be lighter soon :|
  10. Hey guys... saw this watch a week or so ago on the P forum and really wanted a workhorse, so just grabbed it on eBay for a whopping $~325!!! Now to find a ghood strap Sorry TJ... couldn't resist
  11. No problem.... just got mine off the Bay!! :)
  12. Well... Your key is most likely made from plated brass or aluminum, so it would be pretty soft, but yes, the DLC coatings are very durable. We use TiAlN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride) coating for machine components that rub together, and it holds up very nicely I applied it to my watch here: It's also used as coatings for wood and metal cutting tooling, so you can be pretty sure that the stuff will last a long time. I'm not sure how the ADLC coating compares to the TiAln, but if it's anything close... it will stand up to much more than keys!
  13. I could be interested if you can get this one: SEIKO SKZ255K1
  14. This Di Model is IMO probably the nicest 'casual' strap for this watch... waterproof and very well made. You can read about it here, The Watch Prince ... but there are many sellers. Just make sure you get the 22mm and the right length for your wrist
  15. Wyborowa exquisite... a few rocks with lime... just... well... exquisite Or Woodfords/rocks Had a lovely savblanc last night... oyster bay somethingsomething... just beautiful with sashimi, ox tongue, wagyu beef and miso soup
  16. Yeah... I sold my U1 in a momentary lapse of reason last year.... so I guess kharma brought this to me. Will be ordering the black soon... but youch! These are getting pretty pricey at over 4k
  17. Looks like my wallet will be a lot lighter now:
  18. Just got this Manifatture Firenze strap in today... no patina yet Looks great on the 036, but not liking the polished SS buckle which just might get removed... too shiny for this watch, but great strap just the same
  19. I am pretty sure that the 036 is an L dial...
