Is that Tangfolio? Wonderful collection
-
I have just acquired a PAM 036 from another member in a trade, I'm so glad to have this model back on my wrist (had one about two years ago and regretted selling it). I am wondering, and have tried to find info to no avail, in regards to the AR... Is this supposed to have AR on the crystal? Currently, it has the standard faux AR... purple in color, and thinking that there should be no AR at all. This is a B series model, which is the only year this watch (special edition) came out... As with B series marinas, It has an L dial as well... Overall the watch is one is a fine example I think next, I will have it The Zigmeisterfied

Beautiful watch, and a beautiful job by The Zigmeister!!

Great watch! Wear it well!... I'm sure you'll (as I) spend countless hours admiring it on your wrist... they are mezmerizing

(replace) seamaster chrono crown & buttons poking my wrist
swdivad replied to morgan123's topic in Watch Repair & Upgrade
My gen seamaster pro (non-chrono) also rubs my wrist and leaves a scar... My gen titanium seamaster chrono also left a mark, so I think switching to gen parts would be useless for you. Tighten the bracelet by a notch if you can and see if that helps. -
Thank you... I needed this years to pin up on my bedroom wall

The Zigmeister... your work is nothing short of amazing!!! I have seen machines that are for applying SL, I think sold by Tritec... sounds interesting, but are these useful or do they make it easier to apply lume?
-
Oops... I meant 114

Nice shoes!! Great strap on the 113 too Damn I wish I could wear a fiddy... I've tried and tried, but it just feels silly on me... amazing how it looks great on everyone else... must be me
-
I love the effect of double AR as was on my Sinn U1, but the crystal picked up fingerprints faster than free glasses of beer at a pub, so I prefer the single sided AR.... it just stays cleaner.
-
The original... as with all A & B series Panerais, do not have AR coating... That's why I haven't done mine.

Hmmm... and only two wrists? One could say that it is quite the neurosis you've developed With 200 straps... and if they cost $30 each... that's $6k, and I'll bet there's a slew of them that are well over the $100 mark. Got any gens to slap those puppies on?

In regards to straps... I've bought a shipload of straps, from a boatload of dealers... There is an extreme range of quality amongst and between them... I may be generalizing here a bit, and there are exceptions, but anyway: I have found the Toscana range to be quite the basic and standard machine made production strap... not wonderful or inspiring IMO To get the same (or better) quality at a much lower price, you can find equivalents with Don or BOB straps. If you want a great 24/24 historic style strap, I would go with either the MPs, GeF, or definitely Dirk (real Dirk, not 'E' Dirk)... I've also purchased a bunch of wonderful straps from Drew at Europelli... A gentleman in every sense of the word. He has great shell cordovan straps that would also go very very well with a suit. He also has a good range of gator straps too AFAIK. There are other high quality strapmakers out there too... APB & Strapmasters comes to mind... beautiful straps if you don't mind parting with the extra cost... Again, I can't say enough good stuff about Aaron HKTan... although he has had a run of bad luck with personal family problems that has led to his work running behind... He is a standup guy and his straps are tops! On the low end (IMO) there's Taikonaut... cheap straps made cheap for the cheap (probably by children in sweat factories somewhere).... I have never had a strap that I've been able to wear for more than a day from these guys... They also trade under the Strapcode label... Strapcode=Dress Code... LOL Not had a wonderful feeling from the slew of strapmakers seemingly coming out of the woodwork over the last year or so... Seems like everyone's jumping on the bandwagon with nasty (possibly/most likely processed) hides and production run straps. Pawmarker & Strap Culture to name a few... NOTE: I believe that I have just found an exception to the above rule having obtained an almost new Mario Paci XIII strap (which is today on sale on the TC website for $99)... I just can't believe this MP XIII is an MP strap... the leather feels, looks, and smells like the basic straps not typical of the Paci range... MPs are usually very beautiful straps, made from exquisite hides, that smell and feel richer than what you get when buying basic straps... Some of mine are over a year old and still have that strong leather smell.

I think a nice gator strap looks best dressed up... plus 24/22 taper is a little less overbearing... Smat sells Walter straps... They are excellent quality, good as OEM: http://www.network54.com/Forum/353393/thre...traps+By+Walter Found these too: http://www.network54.com/Forum/353393/thre...or+Strap24-22mm. Aaron (HKTan) made me some beautiful straps... My latest dark blue gator with grey stitch is the ducks nutz.. Sorry, no photos The Riva (I have the non OEM hirsch) would also look beautiful on the 111: Some straps:

I think it's a beautiful watch... reminds me alot of the style of the zenith rainbow flyback... I like how they've implemented the cyclops in panerai style, under the crystal... so much smarter than the protruding appendage cyclops of the submariner and its clones I bet it would look great on a strap too.

Apple Computer announced today that it has developed a computer chip that can store and play high fidelity music in women's breast implants. The iTit will cost $499 or $599 depending on speaker size. This is considered to be a major breakthrough because women have always complained about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

I bought a MarcelloC NettunoII some years back.... afterwards I was in the AD looking at the SD... Boy, was I glad I bought the MarcelloC... Best bang for the buck I've ever bought in a watch!! This review is for the Tridente... but it goes for their fulll line of dive watches IMO: http://articles.pmwf.com/index.php?/archiv...ERM-REVIEW.html

Beautiful watch!! That's as good as they come... why buy a gen for 10-15k? If you ever want to sell it... please keep me in mind

It is real titanium... most likely, unless you are buying it at some unknown location from some unknown dealer.
