  1. Yup. I wonder about him as well. If I recall he lived in the South (US). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Welcome back! A vice from the Eddie Lee days and the Big Red Joe days.
  3. Check it against the website - part by part - hand length - wording -- spacing and do it on every inch of the watch, band, and you will know.
  4. The version Wacko Bird carries is correct if anyone is looking for a close to gen.
  5. +1 for the 89. I have one and love the look. Runs a touch fast but i usually don't wear it two days in a row. Titanium is light and beautiful. Very accurate, especially if you do the date stack to get the date up where it belongs.
  6. Just got one from Angus and run like a champ and looks great, right down to the rotor. Here are some QC shots and two gen shots
  7. Lots of rumors about the iPhone6 that may be out in June or later. Solar charging is strongly rumored as is a payment platform, bigger screen, etc. I'm waiting to see it.
  8. They have to fix the 25 on the rotor. The movement is 27 not 25. Classic screw-up. I'm sure the cartel will fix it. I emailed them on it.
  9. Thanks for the update. This is one fantastic watch. I want one.
  10. I tried on a Cartier Tank MC http://www.cartier.us/collections/timepieces/mens-watches/tank/tank-mc?cm_mmc=google-_-EG_BR_Tank+MC-_-Search-_-cartier%20tank%20mc last weekend and this is the watch to own for more dressy occasions. I emailed Reg and he doesn't have one and I haven't seen one at any TD's. Anyone know if one is in the works?
  11. Trusty old dynamic with corfam.
  12. My old 1675 with a slightly beat up gen insert:
  13. I was leaning toward aged white. Add the 2846 and a gen 700 crown from the box. How's the MBW insert stack up? I've got a couple of pearls in the box.
  14. Either one sounds safe as they both have the same beat and size. Now, gilt dial or aged white?
  15. I'm assembling parts for a quality 5513 build with an ETA mvt right now since I don't have a gen movement available. I've got two new movements: ETA 2783 - 25j - date ETA 2846 - 21j - day date. Same size, same beat - 21,600. I've also got two singer dials - both not new showing age - a gilt and a nice patina's white. No hands right now. Thanks for any insight from the pros. Thoughts?
  16. This is what happens when two people can't stop: http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog_asta.html?action=list&s_batch=2 How close is InGod to it?
  17. I'm in. Always have and always will be Top Shelf!!
  18. Good to know. They listed approx. 6mm and 43018. I thought the larger crown was 8100. Just took out my 105 and it has a 6mm with a thinner Omega. Too good to be true.
  19. M, the correct crown is here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Speedmaster-Mens-Steel-Wristwatch-Crown-43018-suits-145012-105003-2915-98-/350546715183?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item519e36622f I tried to PM you but you're not taking any.
  20. Well done Sir! M, you always have the attention to detail. This is watch I've always wanted and the closest I've got is my 145. Thanks for detailing the meticulous execution. Wear is proudly!!
