  1. IMO - Keep it simple -- if they don't upgrade they don't get to sell. If people can't understand how much time and money it takes to run a successful site they shouldn't be given the opportunity to use and abuse it. There is always craigslist for them.
  2. Notice the position of the "L" under the coronet. Your "L" is more to the center. It is too far to the left IMO.
  3. Can you make me one for 6263 with aging and dust? Yes, but extra cost for dust. Can add rat chew for extra $20US
  4. Rolex went to the flip lock on a 9315 in 1972 so if you're going for an earlier look no flip. 6636 was an option on the earlier ones but oh so uncomfortable.
  5. Here's a couple shots of my Gen if you need a comparison shot. The bezel was replaced by Rolex in the 90's after a tank removed the original and it sunk. the bracelet is a gen 7836 with a 280 end and a 285 end. It started life with 280's but the band got hit and the watchmaker had a 285 for free so I took it.
  6. This was my guess when I saw the dial. I'm guessing this guy took it on consignment.
  7. RED, Thanks for posting the pic. I was late to a meeting. Frankly, the whole watch appears cobbled together. Yes, I've seen that dial before as well R.
  8. A nice looking 1680 on the bay but upon closer examination of the dial. Well you be the judge on that dial>dial ?
  9. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  10. Gimme just sold me a great bracelet for a great price.

He is a gentlemen and quick shipper!

    Thanks My Man!

  11. If I recall correctly it's a Tap 7 which should be 1.2mm Oops - i thought you were talking stem size.
  12. That's the way to do it. Then replace the movement when the 2813 quits!
  13. IMO, a must as well. Josh is down for the New Year until Feb 12th but that is the latest and greatest version. It will take gen parts, an ETA mvt, hands are the same. The only thing that doesn't work is the dial feet. You will need to clip those if you put in a slow beat ETA. The reconditioned ETA 2846 that Joshua sells will need service when you get it and it's on an older version. Jim
  14. tiny little pictures. like what?
  15. I've talked to the materials houses in the US and none can get Sellita mvts or parts. Now that I think of it I haven't asked OFrei but my locals can't get them.
  16. I would like to see what the bracelet and clasp look like. Perhaps it would be a nice addition to a 7032...
  17. I like #2. Will we ever see a vintage Steve McQueen Monaco? Jim
  18. The 3570.50 is a classic and one of my all time favorites. This Speedy is also one of my all time keepers and it gets a lot of wrist time for work:
  19. I got notice on the tracking site that "origin post is preparing shipment" on January 3rd. They received the package in Mosee on November 15th. It got stuck in the Asian Games mess and they at least have it. Patience grasshopper.......
  20. Thanks for all the hard work. We all appreciate it. NOW IT'S TIME TO SHOW OUR SUPPORT BY UPGRADING AND MAKING THE RENT!! I'LL DO SOME RENT! NEXT
  21. I've got all the parts and am waiting o so long for the case set from David............
  22. Waiting for my case....... This has to be the longest wait. Blame it on the Asian Games.......
