I have been the of the mindset that problems need to be attacked with a Proactive approach,.. in other words .. I don't like sitting around waiting for the enemy to attack a second time. So here I am thinking that I am sick and tired of reading weekly the death toll from the center for desease control (H1N1). it has been averaging 2 deaths a week... I was constantly told while in the hospital that there have not been survivors to H1N1 where the heart and organs have failed to the point of my case, so little is known about the long term effects to the heart etc. all the while I'm thinking .. OK I am one of the few if not lone survivor of the swine flu once it went into the final stage of attacking the major organs.. why is no one talking to me from the infectious desease center.. to start a study of my hospital stay and beyond. So when the State Health Department called today..they simply wanted to make sure I got the report confirming the results of the tests.. I asked to speak to the Director.. and being on the line with a clerk whom was so condesending and english being a second language that she didn't grasp at all. With a passion I asked the Director .. I am surprised no one is contacting me wanting to study my records and what I will be like within a year. I inquired if the medical community was alerted... as to the simple tests and diagnosis to determine the difference between a cold and the influenza virus .. the ansewer was "NO" with a passion I explained the worst case senario.. Imagine .. this is not the flu season.. yet H1N1 is "IN" the Community..schools just started back up.. (great)germ factories to say the least.. Imagine if any one hospital got 3 to 5 cases like mine into emergency at the same time.. ICU would be devastated..because half the staff is out with some sort of cold. After painting a picture for the Director.. I told him I was shocked.. but not surprised that no one is getting procative ..the lack of aggressive thought is beyond the State .. I told him I would be more than willing to be a part of a study over the next year..my hospital records could be requested through my attorney since I am not answering any questions about my medical treatment before being admitted to ICU.. and cannot count on my memory (for the record).. when I first went to the emergency room. And since my Cardiologist has been handling giving out the orders to the staff resident Doctors in the hospital.. he has stated today that it is by mutual agreement that my heart failure and subsequent kidney and liver failure,.. was due entirely to the H1N1 virus.. I stated that I "expect" some communication.. since the peoples primary doctors are not even testing for the virus.. and I'm tired of reading that every death is because of "underlying" reasons other than just H1N1.. to simple, to and clean for the powers that be. I'm mainly venting here.. but at least the Director said he would get the ball rolling.. actually I told him if he didn't I would go the media.. A~C Lani

It could be pulled off.. however some other accecories are needed !! 1. A pimped out Bentley Turbo.. Azure Blue with gold plated t rim.. mink lined upolstery.. big fur dice hanging from the dash,..wide white walls.. and of course the most expensive gang banger rims.. just to replace the classy ones. 2. Accesorize with a three finger diamond crusted jaw breaker.. with no style just senseless bling.. not something you would obtain at Tiffany's nor Cartier.. and on both fist .. for chains let's keep it simple .. with one or 2 ... but about 50 gauge.. with a simple pendant ..a crucible about half the size of what the alter boys carry into service.... let's be sensible ... 4-2 Carat. diamonds on each point will be fine. 3. Attire.. up to you.. but make sure you have the silver fox full legnth coat with matching hat.. stay conservative nothing exotic to offend PETA.. you can always say it is and heirloom.. handed down and you haven't hurt any fury friend for all your life. Don't forget the varnished black cane with gold eagle head.. hidden sword inthe cane of course. now if you have all these prerequisite items.. the gaudy looking watch won't even be noticed and it would blend in very well. otherwise.... FOGETABOUTIT...

Seems like you've already made it public before getting approval .... you seem to have everything set up before gettig the so call approval.. if it is taken seriously I'm sure the Admin team is more than capable of setting it up.. I would not second gues the Admin Team.. until they can review all findings.. just ma 02 L

Thanks Doc !.. verbatim as my Physicians are saying.. sat through a day of Q&A with the Cardiac specialist.. diet will be the key.. not that I'm not used to dieting.. the challenge and why I'm still in the hospital is finding the right combo of heart meds .. laxice ... Cumadan to try and dissolve the clot in my left ventricle... I'm just hopeful that due to my pre existing health.. I can rebound a little better than most although there are not many suvivors of the H1N1 .. 2 more fell victim.. this week one here in ICU and another at a noted hospital .. so there are no cases to base after effects or recovery on yet.. I'm lucky to be one of the few... as the doctors keep saying .. "you really did come close to dying twice" forgot to add Doc...heart is still just 23%.. .. better than 0% Although there is a posibility that the heart condition will be with me and surgery is more than likely down the road.. So it's one day at a time and enjoy life to it's fullest .. thanks for the kind words and concern everyone !! A~C Lani

Sorry Tazz for not replying to your pm.. I'm still in the hospital ... my exit has been delayed.. so with all the test that they have been running .. I have not had a lot of time.. but back to point.. Aaron has had numerous issues with customs out of Thailand.. although he does not reside there.. the straps come out of that Country. Aaron had been delayed in my orders .. orders that were mde in December 08, have yet to be delivered. this has not been an issue in the past .. but apparently he is being kept on the radar recently .. some of the straps that I have recieved have been opened by US Customs and sent through .. which is strange since they are reptilian .... so Aaron must of had to procure a CITIS certificate.. which can be very, very time consuming and involves govnt. Officials signatures. All I can say is email hime and "politely" inquire.. you will get more from that than demanding.. since he is under the gun too from whomever... in this game you never know if someone "dropped a dime" we'll get the straps although when is out of our hands.. The new board is really great without overkill I may add... T. outdid himself again !! Telling Ubi, and Kruzer... I dropped 40lbs .. they take blood samples for the lab sometimes 4 times a day, leaving my arms and viens black and blue... even if I wanted to go out. imagine what looks like tracks.... 40lbs drawn in the face.. tattoos..ponytail... yeah ,.. poster boy for Junkie's R US.... Sur... there have been many members whom have wanted to make "side" pocket money in selling watches.. please take this as friendly advise and leave the proffesional dealers to sell the replications.. in the end you will find you cannot cover all errors.. and to deny customs replacements ... is asking for more than you can bite off.. what you will do if you ignore the timely experience of those who have spoken... you will run into issues you arenot equiped to deal with... history has shown.. this over and over... if you don't have the deep pockets to make things right don't bother.. in otherwords.. what is it about "No" you don't understand..?? Who was sick ?? my main fear was having a female nurse on duty and having to use the friggin bed pan...not going ta happen.. Let's touch base .. just call .. we'll make it a conference again... Mexico.. shoot .. we got more influenza A. happening in Hawaii than across the boarder...

I'd just like to take the time to thank all of you .. From T to TT and all of the Admin team ... for their warm wishes and thoughts And to all of you whom there are too many for me to log down... knowing I would miss even one member whom had me in their thoughts... Please excuse me but I know each and everyone of you in my minds eye. And I am hounoured to be in such company as we have here .. @RWG !!!! I was 7 day's in ICU and during that time Kruzer and Ubiquitous calls were my lifeline.. though at the time I could not really express what was going on .. But now,..... I can laugh heartily at some of the comments ... Here's one.. Kruzer: "Hey dude ... this is W..... what's goin on?" Lani: trying to say a few words through the coughing....failing miserably.. Kruzer: ... "Wow dude you sound terrible" Lani:..... Still unable to get a word out in between the coughing Lani:(thought at the time)... 'W... I'm in friggin ICU... for heart failure.. lung failure.. kidney.. liver failure... wtf am I supposed to sound like' I mean honestly they were only keeping my heart beating with IV's for a couple of nights.. Kruzer being the social animal that he is .. can find humor in the most dismal space on the planet.. and I am enjoying the conversations we had.. "Now" .... I'm still lauging over some of them . If anyone wants to know of our conversation with our MRI experiences.. please ask Kruzer how he handled his.. Ubi ma man:... what can I say except ... thank you so very much for the calls on a daily basis... they meant alot I am assuming you had a blast with the Raffle !! As I knew you would ... Great Work and Energy !!!! I need not sweat one bit knowing it was in hands that do not need guaidance..you have the passion for all endevors you partake. But I do thank you immensely for your support in all the phone calls over the time I was in ICU.. then Critical care.. and now in general.. Mahalo R.!!! As Ubi stated to me weeks ago... concerned about my current Physicians analysis... Alll my symptoms pointed to Congestive heart failure ...... there would have been a myriad of signs... if BP was taken........ it would of been bout 75/60 .... I asked about a Blood Make up.. But Oh, Well........ it could b worse...... They took A long time to verify it is the Swine Virus...... it's ok. most of the other verified cases was with the Coroners office .... the AR came out on yellow.... the dial looks great ... but the tint in the xtal morphs the colour to gold due to the tint in the xtal.. New maker.... needs to work on his AR. L

never again will I say I am not claustrophobic.. The MRI tunnel is like being squeezed into a cannon tube.. They have ... through the Board of Health of Hawaii .. infectious disease control (both through the hospital and the Health Department) Have confirmed my case as "Swine Flu'"... this is where the virus attack ll major organs .. In. heart..lungs.. kidney,.. liver..... everything along with my heart failed.. the better part of ICU was spent keeping my heart beating... literally ........my Blood Pressure dropped so low one night it was a struggle to keep the heart beating... they had asked me if I would like a Priest.. I told them "I'm .. OK... I am ready to cross over" .... actually it felt like I did already transition to the first level.. I am not speaking in a suicidal or negative way .... I felt I was at peace with how I would leave this physical demension.. and was actually anxious to see what the other side was like.... Well, Doc's all said if I wasn't in great shape I would be on the other side already.. I am scaring myself..looking at a face that has lost 37 lbs. in the last 2 weeks.. and whose heart stregnth now is 23% ...... I will deal with the mental anxiety of the gym I'm sure..... but for now.... on to the next raffle ......... soon A~C Lani

Thank you so much all for your kind words..... it's the best medicine ... The last 2 day's have been high fever during the day.. it has broke now... but I may cause errors in the Rolex raffle.. So after 6 weeks of trying to break the pnuemonia with antibiotics and inhalers, whilst continuing to run my business... the only thing to do is bed rest. My workers have stepped it up and told me to stay home and get well.... after 5 years without a day off... As a heads up the V1 is being marketed as the more correct version.. and is being sold at a reduced price.. This is not the most accurate version !! to my knowledge Perfect Clones and Trustywatchguy are the 2 dealers wihth the V2 from the maker of the Carrera .. so be careful in your selection Check with Joshua or Andrew ~ ... to be sure before ordering.. Man Coolfire .. you keep saying crappy.. but if you didn't state that your wristis were from your mobile cam.. no one would know.. how do ya like that strap.. the others btw are stiff and don't fit well.. this one is sooo soft. !! what "jumps" out at me is the V1 is very irregular as uniformity with "all" the numerals.. some 1's like the 11 is thicker individually than the 1 after the 12.. the V2 is more uniformed as far as size and crispness of font... much more uniformed throughout..

always take into consideration ... "lighting".. that's why its difficult to go "side by side" at times unless the lighting is perfectly the same.. variables in sharpness may occur..

this pic is imo.. the best representation of the dial.. sub rings are heavier.. concentric circles more evident.. font on the day/date more pronounced... and the beauty of the Ti. @ Ubi... You come from the land of "NORAD" ... and ... "Skunk Works" ... and the "Academy" .. no wonder you will not wear the logo..

this is the link to the First true ceramic replication of the TG.. the first was only PVD. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=92859 but the V1 Ceramic was very problematic from Lume dust to sub hands falling off.. the case back threads were stripped.. the current strap that was released with the V2 ... IMO.. is the best one any maker has produced.. like the genuine it is thick then tapers thinner.. with great balance and it is very soft leather.. behind the nylon.. this is what makes the difference.. the Ceramic is well balanced on the wrist with a good kevlar strap... imo.. I am not intending to enter a contest of "right ~Wrong" but for what its worth.. take a look at the review pics from the V1 (which should actually be the V2.. since it was the second V to arrive but the first one the Perfect Clones distributed,.. the first was PVD)) the markers are fat.. the font on the day~date off.. the Ti is to light on the crown and pushers.. I would venture to say the V2 is hands down a better representation.. this is the V1 pics..
