misconception.. the date window on the genuine is not beveled it's a 2 piece fused dial ergo the date window is a step window like that of the 9411 tudor date window, i posted a macro close up in another thread. A~C Lani

Ahh.. the "hunt" took me to places I have never been.. nahh... it started with Ubi guiding me through all the mismash of hunting for parts.. the original gen dial is now on it's way to NYC.. in trade for another franken.. this NOS dial was not the original one I had for the project. But my 9411 is all "Ubi".. who built this from the ground up. genuine NOS dial,, hands, xtal.. insert .. crown.. MBK 1680 case you just have to keep an eye open on the internet for genuine dials and hands.. the eta movement can be had from Ofrei.. the wait and the hunt for me was worth it.. thanks .. and look forward to your postings Cronsell !! I may be able to assist you on the chief AR... I have a spare CD xtal that I could send to chiefs next run.. We're here to support each other .. if not who else will in this underground hobby I don't ask for any monetary exchange other than the cost of what I would pay.. and the exchanging of xtals to replace mine.. however, I do this for supporters and Platinum members only.. since supporting our usage fees keeps us online.. thanks for the kind words.. rhack.. I think an eta 7750 is a must for this one at some point and time.. the grey dial morphs to a darker shade with the lighting.. as you must know by now .. Aaron is having isues with shipping.. not manufacturing.. hopefully it'll be fixed soon.. actually I don't know if the darker grey will look "better" than the light grey.. as I have grown to like the contrast as far as grey goes... anytime ma man !!... that's what we're all here for.. supporting each other...
