thanks N6 it's my neighbors "rice rocket".. .. he had it custom built.. racer... I'm more into the big fat cruisers ... .. but I wanted the carbon fiber in the pic.. edit add:.. I also have a thicker velcro on the way. it has red trim on the outside and the rest is black .. it's the same thickness as Theo's velcro "REM" this comes in only 16 and 20 mm the Zulu is also available in 24 mm .. it would fit the BS .. I may use it for my BP PVD Chrono..

thanks guy's.. but anyone know what to do with the extra legnth ? .. it can't be that the zulu's extra legnth just flops around.. yet it doesn't look natural to tuck it into the rings..

got some different sizes of straps in .. this is the 20 mm Zulu 5 ring pvd .. if your wondering what to put on the TG .. I like the military look.. yup.. don't know what to do with the extra legnth.. Chief and Kruzer .. as Veterans on the forum realize what it takes.. I believe your services are proven ! My thoughts are more toward the replicated watches as group buys, although the member organizing the transactions may have the best plans and thoughts in mind.. anything can happen to the reps.. especially the movements during shipping .. so the product that is recieved is not always the product which is delivered.. I just think a real "bullet" was dodged with this GZ fiasco .. Ultimately the member that is organizing the buy is responsible and .. to me,.. that is a scary libility to take on ... how many members have we seen fall out of grace because they thought that going into the rep biz was a piece of cake .. no margin for error in defects etc. .. and even if the source gaurantees the product.. how many times has that fallen through ? Especially with members attemtpting this in the USA .. again just food for thought to those seeing the gold at the end of the rainbow

Over the last few years I have seen many group buys fall at the wayside .. I am referring to the group buys that pertain to watches, and I might add some of the deals that went South were from dealers doing very well here. There (IMO) are too many variables that can cause problems and the end result is not pretty. And the odds are stacked against the buyer actually. the saying, " you can never please everyone",.. is true .. because to say that 100% of the reps will not have issues .. well, ... is being very idealistic .. again (IMO).. Now what would of happened if a member or secondary dealer took on a group buy and then things all of a sudden fall apart.. as they have with the small vendors in GZ... or as some put it... "my contact"... "Chaos Theory" .. is very much in effect with this biz ..(IMO) .. rather than "Controlled Chaos" .. I just hope no one had money out for a group buy ! My WM9,.. I do not consider a "Group buy".. I would put that in the "pre ordered" list of buy .. There have been successful group buy I'm sure... but the saying .."better lucky than good" also applies... and luck, sooner or latter is bound to run out. And what are the real savings when you look at the problems you may have to deal with.. I could list them but we have all been there with normal buys. We've been there with parts.. Date Wheels in particular, I was not believed when I told the vendor that they were defected.... I never had any problems with kruzers OEM crowns .. but then again .. no money was asked for up front, kruzer bought them and took all responsibility,.. and they were OEM .. not fabricated.. very little risk.. if any involved, but he put up the funds and made sure they delivered .. I may be wrong since I bought them once he had them.. if I am .. I stand corrected. but if was a very good and smooth transaction .. well, more than once actually. this has been many a dealers downfall also, I need not name them or "him" .. and if solid dealers can fail... it may be the factory or the secondary dealer that cannot deliver.. what ever the case... IMO I would rather deal with my factory dealer.. pay a little more. I just call it "insurance" Now I am not targeting anyone or any group .. but I thought I would post "my" thoughts as I always read post calling for group buys ... what may have worked 3 years ago.. may not be an alternative today. All it will take is one time.. for example (without playing into the drama) if a large shipment of replications of the same brand and model were to be found entering the USA .. (signals .. 'counterfeit' import for resale)..and all it would take is a letter from the Attorney Generals Office to the Homeland security .. defining all replications as Counterfeit contraband ... am I being overly dramatic.. well,.. it happened with cigars .. we used to enjoy carte blanche when it came to cigars coming in from Switzerland.. fully intact.. until the day the letters went out from the AD ... confinscate all contraband from Cuba. @Andreww... do you think the BCE crystal would fit into the BS Skyland ? .. its the same diameter,... but the BCE seems a fraction more domed .. the reason I ask is that I have a Swiss 7750 (still in the ETA factory sealed package) ,, so I was thinking of dropping that in the BS and I have a spare BCE crystal that has already been to Chief ... but Ziggy is the only one I would have take of the bezel to swap crystals .. wada ya think M8 ?? thanks in advance Lani

We deal mainly with the "Factory Dealers" .. not the Street retailers of GZ .. it is business as usual for all the Forums "Trusted Dealers" . The Factory Dealers work directly with the Makers .. the Makers do business with the "State" run movement factory.. The street vendors are being affected.. and I hope they will persevere ... as I;m sure they have families to feed.. But as far as our community and those like it are concerned .. it will be business as usual.. I have a parcel that left last week .. and is out bound from customs .. so to ease your mind.. "we're" SOP

The last time this happened was in 2006 .. it lasted a little over a month,.. shippment's were delayed .. some for up to a month.. forwarders had to move merchandise all over the place and wait for an opening to get them out..

after Ziggy relumed my black Bird .. you can see it from across the room... if you are going to relume the dial... you may as well get the sub hands and the chrono (tip) repainted.. to match the inner bezel red, which is the proper (red)colour.. the hands have too much orange in them .. just like the SMP chrono did (I say 'did' as past tense ... since Ziggy repainted them to match the markers)

. . my wrist size is normal ..it goes from 7" to 7.5" and a litlle larger at times.. it depends .. after I train it is smaller for a time .. I finally broke the wall.. I gained 7 lbs. so I'm 192 lbs. now.(dunno what that is in 'stones') .. my point is my wrist size varies.. but it is the regular size,.. it's the rest of arm that is not in sync with my wrist. So if you are wondering if the DeepSea is too big for your wrist.. IMO.. NO .. even if you have a smaller wrist, the clasp takes up almost my whole underside (of the wrist) so the balance is very, very good, due to the design of the bracelet, the clasp anchors it very well .. the DS will not wobble even if you have a small wrist. In this pic my wrist is downsized.. I just finished a 3 hour training session, it has recovered since, but this is a pic that shows my wrist at it's smallest size .. so no worries on your wrist size.. just strap it on !! Honpo.. is... Honpo.. and their pricing reflects their replications ... IMO, it will depend on how well this version did on the World market ... that will be IMO, the determining factor if another version will be earmarked..
