Hi All !!! With our raffle/supporter drive going full guns !! (thank you for the support gang).... it seems apropos to post this now.. as I was going to wait until after the raffle.. but may as well ride the wave while the swells are breaking.. This is to ALL members Old and new.. if you have just upgraded to "supporter" we need your Kokua (cooperation and support) It would be great if we could form an unofficial "mentor buddy" system... When a Noob posts for the first time.. if "one" supporter could attach himself to the Noob as a 'mentor' to show him the ropes so to speak.. this does not have to be knowledge of watches and movements.. but just to point them in the right direction.. the dealers section.. reviews.. Toads Noob guide etc. Most importantly to give testimony "why" we should all be at least "supporters" (upgrade) boils down to .8 cents a day for a year..after all, it would be condsidered "proper etiquette" to chip in and take ownership for ones membership !! PM them, and support our home by informing them of the importance of supporter upgrades and if they need direction .. as we all do.. guide them again you can be a "new" supporter... don't think you have nothing to contribute.. you have yourself and the support of RWG's community !! it is up to us as members (rank and file) to make this place the most rockin Forum Bar None !!! IMO it already is.. but let's not rest on our laurels.. The Admin team our the guardians of the gate .... let's help by doing our part .. so the lights can be kept on 24/7 365 day's a year !! ahh.. yes.... I have the overlay.. but the wheel needs to be taken down for it to have enough spacing for the gears... I was wondering if you would be the "first" to notice.. can't slip it by you freddy... but for now I am closer to what I vision..

I acquired a more accurate case set from my dealer, and the correct hour and minute hands ... so my 1655 made another trip to the Northeast, and Ziggy's House of Horology it took using another genuine xtal.. small sacrifice The parts are not as outrageous as Stephanes, Poleplex .. and others .. TMG started me on this quest.. .. and now after numerous errors in parts on my part.. I can enjoy Ziggy's work . . . AT Long Last..... the wait and hunt just made it all the sweeter !! I recieved a package and picked it up from my mail service late yesterday.. as soon as I opened the lip the scent of high quality leather escaped the parcel... I have always wanted a Pilot strap that actually unscrewed at the lugs.. well I have one now.. along with the strap was a very nice letter from my "strap twin" .. and it moved me greatly.. because it was a gesture of kindness .. and a footnote on the bottom about how the tear in the paper was a result of his Son... the underside is like 'kid' hide.. and the strap is just exceptional .. but the 'gesture' is "Priceless" I will not post the members name.. but if he responds to this thread.. then ... that would be cool.. if not.. DD.. we are all Fools at one point and time in life.. you took ownership for your error .. and as I see it .. are present to "face the music" .. I respect that.. we learn from our mistakes .. although this is a rule that noobs should be aware of,.. as is wearing your rep into an AD is forbidden .. things such as this are bound to fall through the cracks now and then..
