Robbie,.. I had to run outta Kailua this morning and was wanting to add more.. anyway. great conversation yesterday.. I actually pulled over on the Pali so I wouldn't hit the "dead cell zone", priorities.. since Oahu is a 'Rock",.. I'm both not surprised .... but excited when we found out our "History" involved the same "crews" and characters... it brought back a lotta wild crazy memories .. fo sure .. good times !! I'll take some pics of your old stomping grounds and what has replaced them,.. maybe even the "Ol Samoan" aquaintance that is still passing out the vouchers in Waikiki Man you wouldn't believe what Lewers St. looks like now.. they "beautified" it .. what used to be the Street of Sin .. is now a ultra nice tourist walk.. anyway .. once the weather clears I'll go in back of the Power Plant and assorted places and snap some images so you can narrate your "begginings" Aloha brah !! I need to clarify.. sorry,... it is not "loose" the screws are attatched to the spacer which is snug against the case.. instead of unscrewing the tabs after the crown/stem is removed with a little maipulating the spacer and movement can be removed as one.. the movement is attatched to the spacer by the screw tabs. It is like this on all the pilot's .. the whole dial/movement and spacer needs to be reinserted by slipping the stem side in first then gently maipulating the rest of the dial/movement into the case... if it was a an issue that would become problematic I'm sure it would of been noted long ago by the experts here. Great strap Theo !!.. now I know what you meant when you said "Thick"! I opened my case back with my thumbs.. you should be able to if its not totally closed.. be careful.. the threading is very sharp.. meaning it needs work for it to be aligned properly.. I used silicone gasket sealer to allow it to slide easier through the theads when closing it. It took few times to get it seated correctly, that's probably why it's not closed all the way.. it's not seated properly. fyi the movement just pops out, the screw tabs are just attached to the spacer.. I kinda like it .. convenient to remove and reapply ! Live Strong and Wear it Well !! Aloha~Cheers Lani

Hey DT !!.. thanks ma man for the gracious support and time in taking those gen pics I agree,.. I guess if you've waited as long as we have for a V2.. the PR is an after thought ... but those that mind.. can still get one with the proper working PR.. for about 10 LARGE no need to say.. but I'm still in awe over Ziggys free hand luming of the markers ... not only straight, but every marker is so consistant with the others edit add:>. now I really have to take macro pics with my New 5002 .. and try another pics with another strap from Aaron.. the regular buffalo .. this is the distressed buffalo on now ... I have a black gator on the way for the 5004 that turned out to be incorrect hands and colour dial.. so I'll use the gator for this.

Personally I think my wrist looks small under that watch...

Drew... I have long since come the realization that Canada Post works at their own speed ... be it Express or Pony Express .. it takes me double the time to recieve express.. and with the cut backs with the USPS ... the work force is doing triple the routes .. I am told.. lay offs from weak economy... my package could be sitting at the airport and instead of being delivered on Friday.. it will sit there until tomorrow ... hehe, you it was the most happening place in town, and the Krystal flowed like crazy .. the knook you reffered to was the best area .. you could check out the entire lounge area... the lead well was facing the side with the entrance to the kitchen.. or where ever the most waitress' congregated.. you know a place is hot when all the bar crews from other clubs end up there.. we had the cabariet license.. 4 am .... Selleck owned only 1% for name only ... Pat Bollen (Denver Broncos) was the principle owner.. he loved the place.. for obvious reasons... I think that's where my left ear drum was damaged.. .. Azure McCale.. was my fav ... the Billie Holliday voice.. Ahhh those were free and fun day's

That is eally a great looking piece J .... why not try HKtan.. and get him to custom you one.. his straps are super comfortable and he can custom the strap to your wrist specs .... remembering, all straps need to be broken in to give it that soft feel ..a racer(rally) IMO would look great and give the strap the vintage look to match the timepiece. I live in the tropics.. but if I were on the Mainland or EU where the temperature is freezing this time of the year.. I would definitely not be wearing a metal bracelet.. I imagine you'll see more leather now.. seasonal changes, may bring change in styles..

The Strap will make or break the Piece .. I am patial to the leather strap with most of the Breitlings.. the genuines are hard to beat .. Andrew is the Breitling Purist .. nothing but genuine straps on his.. but they are worth the price .. IMO .. it's like wearing shoes that don't compliment the suit and pants..

Ok.. everybody probably guessed which PO is Chiefs.. this angle at the window would have made any other crystal .. distorted.. and of course if one works.. well. the black dial SMP

since Chiefs AR is pretty much colourless with this colour dial.. it brings out the dial 100 Edit add:.. I would have thought that too DT.. if it weren't mine..the SSD really does look AR'd now that I look at it..
